Complete Story of Loot Lake in Fortnite from Chapter 1 Season 2 to Chapter 4 Season OG. Loot Lake was a Named Location in Chapter 1 of Fortnite Battle Royale. It was removed after The End event in Season X.
Loot Lake was then re-introduced as a Landmark in Chapter 3: Season 1, taking a new form but sharing the name of the original and still taking the general premise of a lake.
My goal is to create and bring you the Evolution of Fortnite Items in a fun, educational and entertaining way! Enjoy and make sure to subscribe!

I agree started in season 4 for the first time to try it out at my friends house and I remember one day in the earlier seasons like seasons 5 I had to go through pass loot lake and I remember how scary it was because of the fighting going on Around it

I also desperately miss that middle map area where that little cluster of mountains was, that being the spire one and the other 2 to 3. Those were my favorite spot to just go and sit all game if I was tired of actually trying and just wanted to observe

Back in mid-chapter 1 I kept camping in the tall hut on the middle mountain because I sucked so bad at the game back then that I thought it made more sense to get XP by surviving almost the whole match instead of throwing myself endlessly at the named locations and dying immediately, especially since there was no XP for looting and other small things until Chapter 2.

<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="482">8:02</a> I’m pretty sure this is what actually happened, because I know for a fact the chapter 3 map is not the chapter 1 map, even though there are still plenty of differences between the two maps, but the chapter 2 map was also similar to chapter 1, so I knew that, the flipside must’ve never existed before the end event, because it feels like the two maps are split personalities, makes sense why there’s 2 of them, really

@@TheFazbearShowtimer then explain why the chapter 2 map exists, again, there’s elements of the chapter 1 map on both maps, just because the chapter 3 map is more similar does NOT mean that it is the chapter 1 map. Also, you just want the og map for nostalgia, admit it.

@@The_SniperCam You literally forgot that the Imagined Order existed. The Order rebuilt explicit locations on the Chapter 2 Island for the benefit of acclimating the Loopers to a new Island, remember how the Order held a monopoly over the Islands until The Collider collapsed? Same also goes for the Chapter 3 Island, IT IS the Chapter 1 map, though warped, that's why Chapter 3 looks like a diagonally rotated Chapter 1 map. In the FN Canon there probably is another Chapter 1 map in the Multiverse, though there's no reason for Epic to pander to fans like that

i love how in season 10 (chapter 1) its so much chaos and in season 1-3 its just a lake house, really shows how much events happend, starting off a meteor, and ending with a black hole.

Loot lake is one of those POI that I feel should never leave, I just feel its one of those POIs which Epic secretly loves the most l, and hence why its technically returned in almost chapter, just not as a named POI

Chapter 1 Season 6-9 Loot Lake (without the floating island) was one of my favorite drop spots, would always leave with some decent loot and a few kills, and proximity to tilted towers and the slipstream was great for rotation after.

Fun fact: In C1 season 1 the water in loot lake was bulletproof so by using the worm emote in the lake you were invincible

Definitely my favorite chapter 1 location. I loved seeing it change over the seasons, since the unique way fortnite does it’s storyline through changes is one of the reasons I love it so much.

my theory to the barrier around the zero point is that it basically already exploded but it saved itself from it and made a timestopped barrier around it so that it wouldn’t explode but the seven tried to breake the time zone with pushing the meteor in it

Loot Lake was my all-time favorite location to land back in 2018. Everyone else thought it was the worst place to land, so I’d rush there, get all the loot, and have an entire lake as natural defense on top of whatever I built. Amazing times.

Honestly, Loot lake just became a mediocre POI to me when it came back because it was just a lake with the old name slapped onto it, all it got was a completely new shape, island and some docks for Tilted Towers. There wasn't anything OG about it at all until C3S4, which added the OG house, which was much needed to make Loot Lake feel like a complete POI.
