In 2006, I started playing Zero Mission because is my favorite. Fun fact, an anime once debuted in Japan before it's release in North America.

For anyone guessing why there are so many Metroid references in Donkey Kong Country Returns, that is because Retro Studios also made the Metroid Prime games.

It's not considered a main Mario franchise, but it's still a part of the Mario franchise in general.

I ask people in a recent chat which do they think is the weakest Nintendo franchise in terms of sales and popularity but surprisingly they didn't say metroid but F-Zero.
