Welcome to evolution of Optimus Prime in Transformers movies from 2007 to 2023. Since the new Transformers Rise of The Beasts trailer is out now I wanted to show everyone how Optimus Prime has evolved over the years. Yeah like the latest is so ugly and the best designs is the from 2007 to 2017 and the new one looks the cartoony and he didn't even looks cool like just looking like a cartoony prime 😂

I love the Bayverse design, though it looks way different in G1 cartoon, but the design elements are still loyal to the G1 like the chest is transformed from the front of the truck and you can see the oil tanks, wheels attached on his body. Another thing is that, if you buy a toy like DA28, RA24, APS01U, you will love the design even more, the toys based on 2009 movie are like Optimus comes from the movie into the real life, the toy just looks so great in robot mode and vehicle mode.

2007 is convincingly realistic, and beautiful. The only thing I'd change is to make his feet and shoulders a little smaller, and put the grill on his abs. Out of all the official versions, it's by far the best. Every attempt, including my own, to convert g1 to 3d just looks weird.

2007 was good for when it came out, it was new and fresh and a different version of the character, but the 2018 and 2023 versions are more his classic iconic forms. Sleek timeless you can look and know what you’re looking at, G1 was the start and it makes me happy to see we’re bringing that back. That and as long as we get Peter Cullen as Optimus and Frank Welker as Megatron I’m happy.

For me its: 1. 2007-2011 2. 2023 3. 2018 4. 2014-2017 The original live action design looked the most realistic and actually looks like an alien life form. I like the G1 design but it looks to cartoony for live action. Especially the 2018 one.

The new one is a reboot from the franchise and it’s a sequel to the bumblebee film and I don’t mind a reboot of the franchise at longs as it’s good and it is good

i liked the tf1 to tf3 optimus more because of the wheel spinning sound when transform. And i hate optimus without wheel showing outside except for G1 optimus (included the optimus in bumblebee movie but not the rise of the beast movie)

The Bayverse design is the best from an opinion but arguably an objective standpoint too. Not every live action transformer needs to be the spitting image of the G1 counterpart in order to work. I get that the past was golden, but when you still hold respect for the past but learn to let it go; it makes way for newer more amazing takes. Hence the 2007 designs

Michael Bay's first movie the most perfect depiction of Optimus in a live action movie, character up to date? 86 characteristics was perfect! Megatron was menacing in this movie the transformations was very detailed for a movie that went into production in 06, but was released in 07. Rise Of The Beast doesn't look as good? Even with the touch up they tried but doesn't compare to this?

the transformations look stupid, the G1 designs just don't work in live-action. I'm fine if people pefer the g1 designs for an animated series, but in terms of live-action Bay got it right, everything looks REAL which is the main thing when it comes to designs.

@@j.a.hernandez9742 Bay did well for the first movie. I liked Soundwave as a satellite, I didn't like Soundwave being turned into a car, in dark of the moon? I hated Megatron being turned into a truck and weak! I didn't care for Galvatron being turned into a truck? The producers don't really know what Transformers are not more to them going through a catalog of characters the 80 kids me including bleed energon! And can't stand ROTB! The main character isn't Bumblebee it's! Optimus, Megatron, Starscream Jazz and Soundwave for starters the Franchise is what Batman was in the late 90's. This franchise needs Christopher Nolan and his brother to ground this franchise like he did the Dark Knight trilogy but on Cybertron and do the Cybertronians right! No humans!

@christophercameron2141 A Cybertron movie is honestly what this franchise needs, something brand new. Instead of trying to fit humans tasked with finding an item in a franchise centered around robots. All I'm saying though, is that they shouldn't backtrack on the designs and aesthetics. Bay introduced the Transformers in a live-action setting and it worked, it kept people interested and brought a new wave of hype to basically see the same movie 5 times over, all because everything looked real, and the transformations and aesthetics were all on point.

Optimus Prime in the cybertron scene from the bumblebee move is the best version weve ever had, any true transformers fan will know its the closest weve had to his G1 form... All the bayformers should have been based on G1, period.....

Optimus 2023 really skinny.. i know they want to copy similar to comic/animation. But this is live action. Even bumblebee looked gentle and muscular than him. Optimus should have a strong body. Maybe bias. But BayFormer more badass

I'm just a kid from 2007 but i think that simplicity is the key in every designs, it lets your eyes be relieved and let the details stand out fron the background easier so i like the new prime more New prime's face looks kind of dumb and like a villain more than a caring robot though

I’m a big fan of the 90’s Optimus prime & his performance in this movie I was never really a fan of the prime in the previous movies not to say he wasn’t a good design he just didn’t have the look I’m familiar with from the 80’s cartoons I remember watching as a kid..........less is definitely more when it comes to what the fans want 💯👍🏾
