i stopped enjoying it because they made the game TOO much, i agree with your statement on the simplicity. if they had kept it like it was and never added gems i feel like the game would be somewhat more alive now.

This game was a big part of my childhood. Loved it to bits, I still remember the matches being decided by skill instead of who payed the most money. Love the game but with the amount of microtransactions it has become a pay to win.

PG3D is not P2W in the slightest in current day. It’s infact way easier to get some insane weapons rn vs back in 2014-2015 (2015 especially) It was never about skill. It was *Who played the earliest to have the coins for these weapons* or *who spent money on coins to get stuff like the peacemaker to make earning coins for others much harder?* Stop looking in rose tinted glasses. Old PG3D was an absolute joy, don’t get me wrong. The simplicity, the memories, the lack of a premium currency, everything. But this was a for profit game first & foremost. And no amount of nostalgie shall deny that. I remember getting absolutely slaughtered when I played in mid 2014 by people with peacemakers, or those using things like potions of haste or might to absolutely annihilate you But I wasn’t mad about it, because the core game was fun. No 3 cat spam (altho single cat big buddy was absolutely fucking broken, fortunately sweats usually played private), no 5 abilities on 1 weapon. Just a simple pixelated shooter

I might be remembering wrong, but I used to love playing on the sniper only map and dominating the entire enemy team. Then, one day the enemies started tanking three sniper shots while one shotting me by hitting my arm, and that's when I realised that the game was turning pay to win

@@jahdropemoff5207 It was pay2win for a long time, in fact I'd say it's no where near as pay2win as it was years ago when gems were first added, atleast there are good ways of getting currency now, back then all the gems you get from every level plus campaign could probably buy you two weapons

When you’ve been playing since 2013 when the shop had just been released it hurts to see a game you love evolve into something so money focused every update I seen in here I remember playing them all and so many memeories that I gladly still own and hold very dear to me I practically grew up with this game 😔

I remember when the survival mode map was just an arena and theres a bug where the coins multiply each round. You get a ton of coins from it lol. Too bad they patched it :(

Just run around and kite every monster into one huge group and use a grenade launcher to one shot the whole wave (later waves needed 2 cuz the splash damage wasn't wide enough). Man that was fun

It wasn’t a glitch, every 10000 points you would get coins. After 10000 you get 1, 20000 you get 2, etc all the way till 100000 score. After that point it would just stay at 10 per 10000.

I started playing late 2013, became addicted all of 2014, took a break in 2015, and was addicted for the majority of 2016. This game will always be remembered by me, it really made my childhood a greater experience!

I remember used to roleplaying, back then roleplay server was a common thing. I remembered i make a roleplay server on mansion map, people joined and hangout together, chatting, and just do silly stuff together. And it's just takes one tryhard to ruin the whole server lol. Good times

I remember when u don’t just get 1 parts in lucky chests instead u get the weapon the first wepon I got from the lucky chests are magic claw or power claw I forgot what it’s called I also remember when it was literally so hard to get coins and I also remember when a lot of guns like anti hero sniper costed tons of gems and it was very hard to get gems

I remember my first victory, in Nuclear City. That was an awesome map, and very nostalgic for me. My fav guns are the Marksman and the Corn Launcher Rifle.

I remember when the wizard wand was broken since it could shoot through walls and everyone's gamer tag was visible. It was the last weapon left for me to get in the game, and when I finally got it, Pixel Gun got it's first update. For some reason, I refused to update it, and I used the wizard wand until there was nearly no one left playing that version of the game. One day I couldn't find a match until eventually I matched against 1 person on team fight. I used wizard wand as always, killing him over and over again, since he didn't have it (props to him for not rage quitting lol). The match ended and we both left. That was the last match I ever played on the original version of Pixel Gun. Soon afterwards, that ancient tablet just had a black screen every time I turned it on. Rest in peace weird Nook tablet that somehow ran Pixel Gun...and one of the original PG accounts that never saw an update and forever rests in the time... "When Pixel Gun was good" R.I.P "ODST456" It would honestly be cool to hear from anyone else who also played before the first update, how was it like for you? Edit: It was actually the version that first added multiplayer, so technically not the very first version, but the first multiplayer version. I think it was 4.0 cause I definitely remember that armory.

Could use every weapon you had during the match, before they added prototype railgun and automatic peacemaker was accurate enough to snipe. When I wondered when they would add the 2nd world to the campaign mode. I miss that version of the game, sad to see it go but glad it existed :)

I’ve played pixel gun 3D between 2015-2019, the game was so much fun, but after 2017, it became a pay-2-win game, which is a shame

I made some friend on the game too they were really nice, I remember where we could edit your avatar skin and also the Ruby armor was cool! But over powered same with the green armor I forgot the name of it😅

Damn I still remember the old day where people have no drama and become friends which it’s made me cry. I miss this so much, it was happen in 2014. And it was fun to use coins, it is very useful before gems update.

I played this game in 2015, I remember when Automatic Peacemaker was one of the best gun. The only way to make coins and gems was to level up. I also remember when skills was the only key to win. Nowaday its full of kids using money to buy OP gun and litteraly one shot everyone. RILISOFT did a very great job and I honestly would still play today if it Was them. No offense but the game is becoming worse and worse and it just hurts me since this game means a lot to me.

You are a true OG of Pixel gun if you 1: remember that the “escort” game mode was once called “fort siege”, and being the “clan wars” at the time 2: remember when modules didn’t exist 3: remember when the health bar as well as armor bar didn’t use a percentage, but rather different shades and colors of symbols that state how much you have If you remember these 3, you’ve definitely played pg3d over 3 years ago, I started around 2016-2017

I remember before they had those Battle Pass seasons. Before the Lucky Chest gave parts. When level 27 was a flex. When the health and armor weren't percentages. When the weapons were not on hotbar mode on default. I miss the Old Pixelgun but the new one is also good.

I remember the lava flail being my favorite weapon even though people say it’s bad but honestly it was good it had a delay but it was a one shot head shot and even if u died you would still get the kill if you managed to hit someone with that weapon

I remember when they added gems on a Christmas update, I started playing the Valentine’s Day update after that. So many memories with this game. I remember doing trickshots off of the tanks on d-day. I remember when they added toy factory as well, it has always been my favorite map since they added it. I had so much fun on that map.

I was watching some minecraft clips, and one of them reminded me of pixel gun. Back when you could make your own skin, I made a completely green character and had the headhunter sniper. I used to sit on top of the trees and blend in well whilst looking into the enemy spawn. I was literally spawn camping and since the spawn was open, you could easily kill them. I was almost never spotted aswell.

I remember having so much fun with the electro launcher and crystal lazer cannon in that one alien map thats all gray with the red pillars. Also armageddon spam and the plasma releaser. Those were the days

It’s crazy to think that a mobile game so small would be loved by millions, my brother and I played this game right when it came out and to look back at it is just incredible, nostalgia hits me hard when seeing this because I still play this game and never realized the many changes, this game will have a special place in my heart forever

Out of all of the updates, I believe the first one I was a part of (when I first played it) was back when the title screen was on that one forest map, and it didn’t have a story mode
