I love how people are getting upset over the rookie mode. C'mon now you guys :/ it's there for people to enjoy the game if they're not experienced in it. I'm still pretty shitty at megaman x games (save for a few) so I won't deny rookie mode for some. I think this was just to show all of the sigma battles.

The problem of these easy modes is how they end up undermining the experience for the newcomer by going overboard, and giving the gaming journalists most of which are beyond incompetent as well as corrupt the easy time they shouldn't even need to begin with if they were actually half as competent as they should be. I feel that Megaman as a series doesn't need it since people who will seek out these games are usually more than prepared to face these challenges, and casual players will most likely stick to their mundane releases of franchises like Pokemon that have a better target audience for attracting as many souls in as possible. Simpler and more mindless the gameplay and bigger the marketing, better profits.

Sigma has acquired some rad cosplay taste over the history of megaman x franchise. From imitating star wars jedi in x1 to going for a astro boy pluto look in x8. In x8 he's huge,has big ass horns on his heads,he is basically pluto from astroboy with slight modifications and his aesthetic has evolved to the demon/giant motif that that he's gone beyond theimitating and hijacking bodies stage.

@@cauafernandes4333 not really; 1 and 2 was sigma from the beginning; 3 tried to "hide it" but no one that played the original saga bought it; 4 it was obvious the "mysterious villain" was sigma. 5 was sigma from the beginning. 6 was the first one where they actually just inserted him in the last minute. 8 is the only one where the reveal villain was someone else

Keep in mind: the X3 gameplay was with Rookie Hunter Mode on. Compare that to x1 and x2 Sigma in Hookie hunter mode in this video. Yeah, that's how absurd X3 is with its difficulty.

I remember that I dispatched wolf sigma with charged rolling shields and fully charged x buster shots only using 2 subtanks the first time I successfully defeat sigma in x1, nice video but I notice that X received less damage than usual from attacks even with armor

For some reason, for me at least, when I was a newer player, between the first 3 X games, X2 Sigma was the hardest for me to take down. Hell, I didn't even get past Serges til long after I beat X1 and X3 (was like 8 at the time), but now that I'm a lot better a it (I also grew up with it in the 90s btw so I've been playing MMX for almost 30 years now), X2 is byfar the easiest. I'll bet he had invincibility turned on in X2 b/c he couldn't handle the fight. He seems like a newer player to me.

@@kakorotskywalker In the Legacy Collection There is a Mode called Rookie Hunter that lowers the damage that you take. Basically a Easy Mode.

I dont want be rude but, my satement is for X1 "The dog robot is weak to ice, sigmas first faze weakmess is elec and his big fox with spiny Arm's is rolling shield." I dont want to be that guy but growing up with this, its sad to see it not be played kinda right. YO DERROTE A BELIAL SIGMA (X8) COMO 5 VECES Y CON SOLO RECIBIR 3 GOLPES, VENCI AL SIGMA ROBOT GIGANTE DEL X5 3 VECES CON X Y SIN ARMADURA, Y VENCI MUY PERO MUY FACILMENTE AL SIGMA DEL X3 (creo que se llama Neo Sigma) sin usar su debilidad mas de 8 veces, VENCI A TODOS LOS SIGMAS (menos el del la Oveja Negra (X7) Lel) Y NO PODRE VENCER A 2 MAVERICKS AL MISMO TIEMPO (claro, Ininity Mijinio es el dios de los Maverick)

I don't mind the forgotten Megaman Xtreme 1 and 2 but what about Marvel VS Capcom Infinite? You said all battles until 2018 so "Ultron-Sigma" should be on this list too (At least Ultron Omega, as he is a remake of the classic giant Sigma battle)

Whoever is playing these games must have hacked them somehow, because X is taking FAR LESS damage than he should be, getting tagged by Sigma. EDIT: MHX seems to be the only non hacked game here, as X is taking the damage he should be.
