My favorite would have to be the Mega Mushroom. It's just so satisfying to squish other opponents and also gain a bunch a speed while being able to take off road shortcuts for a short another of time.

3:29 I can’t believe they brought back the mega shroom in Mario Kart Tour. But when you select the item, the music for that doesn’t play. But on the Wii console, it does. That was the same music from the New Super Mario Bros. game from the good old DS. Anyone remember the good times we had with the old consoles?

And thank God the POW Block and Thunder Cloud didn't return. The Thunder Cloud ruins my day, and I'm just scared of the POW Block because it makes me lose all of my items and is generally unavoidable unless I'm airborne.

Best mario kart game for me. It just felt right with their double kart and their maps were so much fun that they even brought it back to Mario kart 8 but in the new mario kart on the phone they did bring back the speical items to the character but some character from MKDD dont have the sameone from Double Dash so thats a downer but still fun to play.

4 stamp ベビィサーキットじゃなくても近くでファイア投げられたら大体避けられないよ。確かにあのアイテムは強すぎたがスペシャルアイテムだから多少は大目に見てやってくれ。 レイローはどのマリカーもムズイ。個人の主観だがGCだけ特別ムズかったなんてことはなかったかな…SFCのレイローやってみ？一度も落ちずにゴールなんて至難の業だから

4 stamp ファイアーボールが害悪というよりコースが悪いよな完全にTA用だし キラー枠アイテムってワンワンのことかな？あれは確かに酷いわ あと君64からやってんのね。SFC難しいけど慣れたら面白いよ(俺64やったことないw)

The Boomerang Flower, Piranha Plant, Crazy Eight and Super Horn were actully introduced with the Nintendo Wii U version of Mario Kart 8 in 2014, three years earlier than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch (2017). Deluxe only brought back the Boo and Feather.

I wish they brought back the powerups from mario kart wii, like the pow block and the thunder cloud and the mega mushroom, i liked using those powerups

Tip for using the Lucky 7/Crazy 8: Make sure the first item you use is the Star. I once used the Bob-Omb first, threw it in front of me, hit it and lost all 6 of my other items in Mario Kart 7!

Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 has really interesting special character items, Let day Wario for example, one of his items is literally his Fart Gas, he farts on players from behind, and he also has his Snot, which throws forward.

@Queen Shook actually a new special item could be the Super Crown..it would turn every other player in a sexy version of Peach like Bowsette for Bowser (but depending from the characters they are playing)...and in this way they would be forced to slow down because of fapping XD

My favorite game is Mario Kart Double Dash !! because it's the first Mario Kart I've seen and it's the only game where you can play two on the same kart! 😍😍. I'm french so sorry this my english is not perfect 😜

The super horn makes me feel nice and comfy, if you ever played Mario Kart 8 it's like having a guardian angel protecting you from the satanic spiny shell 😇 Granted everybody is said to have a guardian angel that we are not able to see with the material eye according to the Bible.
