Final Smashes are always supposed to represent fighters hitting with the best attacks/tools they have available. Still, I feel like Terry got spoiled on *everything* far above what Ryu and Ken got.

Back when we were speculating on Terry’s moveset, I thought his Final Smash would be Star Dunk Volcano.

When I first met Fatal Fury and Terry Bogard for the first time when I was just 7 years old (I think it was 2013) through artwork from a CVS 2 Music video, I thought it was a Bootleg, ripped-off version of Street Fighter, thought the games were crap and stupid. And I thought Terry Bogard was a bootleg version of Ken Masters. Then, later in 2019 (7 years later), Terry gets announced for Smash and I'm like, "Okay. I mean I don't care about Fatal Fury and Terry so I'm not made at but I'm glad we're getting a new fighter." Then I react to Terry's Smash Direct and I like, "Hold on Bro, this character is kinda clean actually, with sick music and a sick stage. But I still really don't care." And the moment I start playing Terry on the day he was released, I'm like, "Bruh......I take everything back. Fatal Fury is no longer a Bootleg, Ripped-off version of Street Fighter in my book now. I love Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters now. But most importantly, I love Terry Bogard now." And the thing that blows my mind is that I find it so crazy of how Terry Bogard was a character I didn't care about when I first met him at 7 years old but later in life, 7 years later, once he joined Smash, he's now in my Top 10 Most Favorite Characters of all time, in Top 3. He's the most greatest Video Game Character I've ever seen in my life, tied with my Waifu Zelda. I'm 14, I've known this dude for 7 years. It explains why I love Terry the most when it comes to my favorite characters in Smash. I'm so happy that I didn't play the games those 7 years cuz I wouldn't love him as much as I do for playing the games. All of that no caring about him and talking trash about him plays a big factor of why I love him so much. I'm really happy that I met Terry Bogard because he knew that I was talking trash about him and he's like, "You're gonna love me as a character once I join Smash" and he was 100% right. And with that, "R U OK???" and "GO BUUUUUURN!!!" (I will say that when I first met him for the first time, I thought he had one of the most CLEANEST Designs I've ever seen in my life. I love his design even more now that he's in Smash and DON'T GET MY STARTED ON HIS HAT THO!!!)

​@@videogamekid97 Man way to make me feel ancient, lmao. I first played the Fatal Fury series in 1993 at 7 years old. It was Fatal Fury Special and it was at an old local grocery store. I chose Terry because he was the character that looked the coolest to me, long story short i loved the game and Terry became one of my favorite characters of all time. I've always thought he was a lot cooler of a character than Ryu or Ken.

It's a Japanese thing I'm guessing. They're very phonetic when it comes to saying words, so I'd imagine they were pretty confident (or confused) when saying geyser.

Because a Japanese person is voicing him...plain and simple...his accent is what is throwing you off
