In that movie the maker tried to show how the world would look like in 2084 with wired telephones, crt monitors, and many other technologies that are already backdated in 2022. They even did not have any idea how the world would look like in 2022. However. I enjoyed the movie a lot in my childhood. I still like the movie. My point is we still don not know or imagine how the world would look like 20 years from now.

Eric Allan Kramer was pretty decent as Thor way back then. He had a cool Thor outfit plus he got a beefy body to play a god. The big problem was his hammer that looks like a kid's toy that was bought from a Kids r us store.

Has anyone here actually watched the 70's/80's Hulk and Thor? Not just look at clips and images and laugh at how 'bad' it is, but actually went back and watch at least the movies, if not the whole show? I'm just saying, there's a reason it lasted for five seasons and three follow-up films.

After just watching Love and Thunder, Dark World actually doesn't look that bad anymore... And that 1988 Thor would even be welcomed in order to finally get the Asgardian testosterone levels in the live action films even close to where they should be. 😆

Thor! Read the comics in the 60's, spent the 70's mad as hell @ all of the poorly produced super hero properties, but after a loooooooong wait, Marvel started making the movies proper, bringing us the heros in their glory, as only technology could provide. The writing is so much better now, and new generations of nerds will get greatly infected at rates never seen before!
