What about the transmission? Is it manual? Any rebuild on the engine or trans? And, last question sir, what about rust issues? How much have you invested in that issue?

There's no rust issue sir,, the engine is already rebuilt. What i did is turn it to a standard model, more power, and more economic.

Is it still easy to get parts? I usually liked older japanese vehicles but got rid of them because it was hard to get parts for them. Even for some Hondas that were just 10 years.

2013 model with 360k odo still running in my farm. Take good care your truck change oil regularly,Fuel Filter and Oil filter that big 3 very important.

I was born in 04 my first car was 1989 hilux 5 speed manual, loved that car runs good and still strong till this day! 35 year old car still runs like brand new.❤

Once accidentally left my Hilux by the shore, it fell into the ocean, 2 years later it wash up on the beach, have the key with me and crank it up, still works...

2005 is facelift from 1997 and was released 2003. 2020 is invincible facelift of 2015 and 2022 is normal facelift of 2015🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

And 2010 was the 7th gen facelift of the 2005/2006 model and was actually released 2012. You really messed everything up after 1997🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I have the “2005” Hilux since February 2002… and it's phase 2. And same for the “2022” it’s the “invincible” of 2020. The dates seems not be entirely correct but otherwise it’s great 👍 Ps : sorry for my English I’m French

I have a 88 for collection and a 15 for daily and my workhorse I called mamaw(monster) cause it can go anywhere and still doesn't fail u on freeway. And I just bought a 2023 (conquest) automatic and it breaks my heart cause all the add ons is not helpfull at all it limits the car from being the beast it was😢
