you could change color of the outfits in AC2, ACB, and ACR... by visiting the tailor.... because although they aren't really armours I still consider them to be outfits.

@@MembersOfHistory and that was basically the best look... Because my favourite game of the series is actually revelations... But it was bad visually when you got other armour items with different colours and simply it looked ugly with the white dye

In ACB my favorite dye in all series is Roman guilded onyx, tell me if the name is wrong, it's black and purple.

I didn't play Odyssey and Valhalla, so seeing Eivor have a massive war axe twice the size of him, plus on fire, on his back just shows the unfortunate direction AC is going.

Unity did armor/clothing best in my opinion. Multiple variations of each piece as well as being able to change the color scheme of your outfits was really great, so great that I probably spent more time than I should have in the menu, just swapping pieces around. I really enjoyed the French nobleman aesthetic too, it fit so well with a lot of the different hood and cloak type pieces. I think something similar to this but with the added ability of changing the color of EACH individual piece would be perfection as far as outfit customization goes.

Agreed. You could really make your own Assassin outfit to yourself or to Arno, also his main one isn’t so bad. Ngl, his feels so much like a possibility to make in real life (without too much hassle), it’s always amazing to see Arno’s outfit and the custom ones. Maybe it’s the “I want to wield that” fan part of me 😂. One I really love is Connor’s especially the hood peak and the design of it the eagle, also the entirety of his outfit with his own native touches. 🤌🏼💋 Unity did great on many things and wished Ubisoft would go back and improve on it more for new games, but alas…

It makes me angry that they put Alexios on the cover, all of the promotional content featured Alexios, here they refer to the outfit as “Alexios outfit” and then they say that Kassandra is the canon character? Fuck you Ubisoft. Alexios supremacy

In the original AC3 all outfits are displayed where the legacy ones are in the remaster. Except for the city outfits ofc. One thing the remaster has done better. And only

@@Engille967 1. There is any changes in gameplay in remaster? 2. I think remaster have a better graphic. Is more vibrant, warm and colorfull. But I understand you prefer vanila, which one was more cold in style. You know - Graphics (and many other things) are subjective in reception.

@@akari6859 1. in the originsl, parkour allows you to kill civilians more freely, in precision mode shooting is set to the quickshot key making freedom for air assassinating/tackling civilians. Changing the controls for boat won't mess up your regular controls. You can't see synched viewpoints like in the Ezio Trilogy and AC1. The free aiming system makes a lot of difference since you don't automaticaly aim your gun/bow

Origins you only manage weapon, using gold tier weapon just 1 piece, while Odyssey we need to think about gear set so its need 5 pieces in Valhalla we just need to manage runes, but it doesnt matter we still OP without it

@@MrZarbon991 yeah gear build is matter if you want to be more stronger, like focusing on weapon damage and critical will make you do alot of damage. but using purple is better because its could mix and match, while gear set is need to use the same gear. while in Origins we just need to find a good weapon that doing alot of damage, and in Valhalla we need to find a rune to buff our gear. so yeah those 3 games have different gear mechanism

@@flamingfury1785 late game, you're literally an unstoppable demi good, no matter what you chose. Assassin and Hunter are the easiest, Hunter is laughable easy. It's best not to mix, you can switch loadouts whenever you want, there's a tabs on the left for that. If you enjoy assassin, pick whatever piece of gear augments assassin damage, preferable purple epic gear while leveling, legendary gear (including sets) is more for late game (pirate set is great for assassin).

In ac2 (actually all ezio games) you can change your outfit color, and in ac1 all of your gears include the armor will be upgraded through the game.

@@PeaShooterAutoHunter he they the *Evolution* and also he include more colored outfit in ac3 but not in ac2(acbh acr) so yeah actually it counts in term of showing the Evolution of changing the outfit in the games + he doesn't count armor customisation in ac unity

Bayek and Kassandra/Alexios don’t really have a base of operations during the events of Origins and Odyssey respectively, so a physical place to store outfits isn’t surprising. While they have places they start out the story quickly moves them on and doesn’t require they return for a good length of the story if at all because there’s so much of the map to explore.

But they both have horses/camels that can store outfits and weapons. Also Kassandra has a ship, but there’s no way to go inside it. Would’ve been a perfect place to store outfits and weapons. They were just lazy and didn’t implement them.

It would be awesome if you can wear civilian like outfits. So they will be amazing at stealth but defence will be terrible. And having same outfit even after high profile assassinations will make you noticeable until stuff cools down or you will have to change to a simpler outfit. having black outfits in night will increase stealth at night. and the games must have a cloak to hide weapons. A bit realistic Stealth System. Unity kind off has this...Sans Culottes outfit got pretty high stealth stats because many during the time wore it so the guards will think you are one of them...then the Bourgeois outfit...it looks like a civilian outfit and have good stealth and slow detection.

AC Origins was about the founding of a proper organization that would directly become the Assassins, Odyssey was about dismantling an organization that held similar ideals to the Templars (And were similarly as powerful as them), and Valhalla was about a viking working in parallel with the direct predecessors of the Assassin; And that's not even mentioning the fact that these three games are some of THE most lore heavy games in the series. You don't even know Assassin's Creed lol

I hope one day an AC game has an outfit for every previous protagonist in it as well as full customization like the chest pieces, capes, boots, gauntlet customization, (hopefully unlike AC synd where some of the coolest ones have different damage outputs 🤦‍♂️) color (just the whole package of what the previous games had) into one. And for Ubisoft's sake.. bring the damn multiplayer option back.

The newest AC game that is coming is rumoured to be a live service game, so fully customisable outfit styles that is a bit more in depth then how it currently works is very likely. Only problem is, some armours might be having stats better then others, which would suck.

There is actually five protagonists that cannot change their outfit if you include the modern day characters like Desmond, Layla and the Employee cannot change their outfits while outside the Animus.

The thing with AC Odyssey through Valhalla, the direction that the games are going seem to be more in line with what’s “cool” and what sells, which seems to be the micro transaction, RPG type game. Part of me wishes they would just stick to their roots and continue with their substance-rich stories, characters and history-linked events that make you feel like you’re actually part of a secret society of assassins, not just taking historical events and trying to cram the AC brand onto it

The problem with that take is that Assassin's Creed lore is much, much bigger than the Assassins, which span what, 2,000 years with only one perspective of world history? It'd be terrible if every AC game was just about the same type of protagonists, over and over. The same goes for how the games play too, as it'd be terrible if every AC game played the same and had the same genre, over and over again. The change is good and refreshing, which was the biggest reason for the change of genre, not the popularity of said genre (And that's not even mentioning the fact that you can still play super stealthily like in the old games with the new games, so they already sorta still have the classic old genre with the new)

@@SlowWinterNuts I would disagree in a way. You say it would be good to change up the way the game is played to keep things fresh, but I think that sticking to a good foundation with good substance can completely overlook the need to alter gameplay. Take the Soul's games for instance; their formula has stayed the same, if not only gotten better, as the franchise has progressed, yet the mechanics of the game are, at a base level, almost the exact same. All FromSoftware had to do was enrich their games with lore-a-plenty as well as good art direction, music etc. through each new installment and fans would continue to lap it up. Assassin's Creed not only has a great substance to use for future installments, it also has the potential to continue and expand upon the lore of the animus and the underground feud between the Assassins and Templars.

@@jaycethewanderer9835 Ah, but you see, the difference between Dark Souls and Assassin's Creed is that Assassin's Creed lore actually supports diversity in gameplay and storytelling; There's so much to the world history of AC, as it's not just OUR world history, but also fictional world history too. You can have a Fallout-esque post apocalyptic game not long after the Toba Catastrophe, you could have an AC game that plays like Red Dead Redemption during the Wild West era, you could have a Ghost of Tsushima-like for a Japan game, and we're already getting wild RPGs to synergize with Spartans and Vikings too! It's SUCH a waste to relegate every Assassin's Creed game as strictly sneaky hooded Assassin does sneaky thing with the same genre every time despite the lore suggesting more than just that for a series.

Having that much Ac, that's the real problem, a franchise usually follows It's own set of rules to carry the name, there will never be a futuristic game of thrones called game of thrones two because that's Just a whole ass series using a brand from another to make a Quick name If they want another point of view and another gameplay they should rebrand the series, let It be in the Ac universe Just rebrand for God's sake. "Ac is much more than the assasins" No It's not It's in the name, a game about the Creed of an assasin's group, branded as this, want a cool fighting rpg set in some historical event time with a history loosely tied to Ac? Brand It another thing, like "Cowboy Creed" the spin-off where the creed reaches old west, but no one in their right mind would learn parkour and not depend on a gun, they aren't assasins anymore they are gunner (I know the name sucks)

The scope of Game of Thrones is very limited considering its world and its timeline, AC however, not so much; AC, since the very first video game, has been backed with the catalog of REAL WORLD HISTORY, which literally allows you to go from cavemen to ninjas to cowboys to Spartans to Vikings to present day hitmen and so on; The only restraint however, and this is the part you unfortunately don't understand, is that it must be about the core ideologies of the Assassins and their antithesis, the Templars, hence the reason why the title isn't called "Assassin", but rather "Assassin's Creed"; The cliché of the organization is nowhere near as important as what the organization stands for, for which it itself is timeless. Every single AC entry involves the battle of these opposing philosophies, so no matter how different the setting, gameplay, or even medium, the core theme remains always the same: The philosophical battle between a better world through order, and a better world through chaos. THAT's Assassin's Creed, not some childish misunderstanding of wanting to see the same exact shit over and over with the same simplistic clichés

I do hope eventually they make it like in RDR2 where u can swap your clothes without having to go through the menus, or have a bag that the player carries that has an animation of them changing their outfits similar to TLOU2

I still think that the latest 3 AC's would have been perfect as it's own spin off franchise directly linked to AC that dives in to the mythology aspect. I really think the reception to these games would have been better if it had a different name.

I really liked the capes and faction uniforms. It didn't make you invisible to your enemies but it did make it harder for them to detect or suspect you. I still think Origins and Odyssey had the best transmog and Unity had the best outfit system. I'm playing Valhalla now and I hate that I can't easily switch between items, load outs, or styles. I mean they forgot the underlying element of all the games... they are simulations in a computer program. We shouldn't need to travel to the only blacksmith in all of England! (yeah, like that's believable)

Out of curiosity, what outfits were there on the stands in the original 2012 AC3 release because I've played the remaster but only 8 sequences on the original? I know that you get Altair's outfit for getting 100% sync on all main missions and am also aware of Ezio's outfit in the original. out of what I've played from the original release, I only have the prisoner outfit in the basement.

Ezio in revelations,armor changing can be quite system heavy for me, because my fan always sounds like an engine and I cannot open the goddamn outfit change to switch to the much better master assassin armor

actually in ac odyssey you can customize you armors appearance (on PC i don't know about other platforms). and in Valhalla you can't customize gear I don't think. but you can go to certain tattoo and hair dressers and customize Evior.

ngl i used to always say edward was my fav but ngl EZIO AUDITORE DA FIRENZE....i see why people love his game so much like i am fasicnated by all their story and how they all come into one huge story but ezio his story was the best and the fact that his the only one with a collections of 3 games and how we go from young teen to OG still kicking a** is awesome. His whole life was something phenomenal and i can proudly i don't ever regret spending the time i did playing his games. Ubisoft did an amazing job with that..................then AC odyassy and valhalla existed..........................................why.......

In every game,altair outfit should be the weakest armor in game. It gives the player "Legendary" difficulty. So the player could really feel,altair is very good or skillful,being that weak,but able to overcome many powerful foes.

It’s hilarious to me that they still list it as “Alexios Outfit” when in cannon it was Kassandra that was the eagle bearer and Alexios became Deimos. Kind of reminds of how all of the cover art for Odyssey was Alexios, then they reveal later that actually it was Kassandra that was cannon. They don’t have the balls anymore.

Unity was the only game to do it right. Your clothes and weapons impacted your stealth and combat. Arno looked like an average citizen in the stealthy outfits.

Another way to change ur outfit in ac unity is by going to the mannequin close to the ladder in Arno's room at the cafe theater

Bro, Ubisoft did Arno dirty with his outfit in AC Rogue, and AC III. It doesnt look like the actual outfit at all. It went from Assassin Blue to Brown Leather, and the chest area was changed. Ubisoft got no care for their games anymore

It really annoys me that In AC 2 you can't take the armour off, I know it's helpful but I just really like Ezios Assassin suit alone and the armor takes the magic away

There's only one Assassin outfits in AC Valhalla. The Basim's robes. And he's not even the main protagonist. Because Eivor, until this day, is not even an assassin.

Alas it didn’t get released after the movie or get a re-release to accomodate this. III Remastered must have been soon enough after the movie was released for Aguilar’s robes to be included as an outfit option.
