Ima be honest, this was one of the first Godzilla videos I’ve ever seen (I became a fan when kotm first came out), and this vid definitely helped me see each incarnation of Godzilla for the first time, so I guess I do have fond memory’s of it, even if hasn’t aged the greatest

I like how the 1984 film expanded more on Godzilla being a ravenous monster like how he is in the recent films, the 90’s movies made Godzilla’s looks more like today and the 1999 movie really expands on Godzilla’s thirst for destruction.

@@LoieGoose Yes. Though “All Monsters Attack” portrayed a child’s hallucinogenic trip (It was the 6O’s) I’d qualify any Godzilla movie with that little green... Nightmarish. I feel the inception of a junior Godzilla was the result of a hallucinogenic trip (It was the 60’s.) I just don’t like Godzilla’s son. No sir. I don’t like him. That kid created by hallucinogenic properties (It was the 60’s) was sinister.

The 60s ones were funny. Of course it's ridiculously silly compared to today's audiences. I must say though that I value the attempt of movie makers to create such nice visuals in order and to keep the audiences entertained. I wish I could visit a museum to see all these props and history. ☺

It had a good story to it, and the special effects were amazing, still holding up to this day. Plus the roar/sound design was really good aswell. I can see why people disliked it though. He shouldn't have ran from the military, he should have fought it. Ofc, at the end of the day - it was a mutated iguana, it didn't really know what it was doing. Also, I think they shouldn't have removed the atomic breath and such

If anyone is confused about the Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah part, I’ll tell you. Spoilers for Godzilla Vs, Destoroyah are present! After Godzilla Jr. (Godzilla's son) died from Destoroyah dropping him into a building, Godzilla felt outraged when he used every last of his atomic breath to kill Destoroyah due to killing his son. (I’m pretty sure after he saw his son die, Godzilla got outraged and killed him for being responsible for his son's death.) After Destoroyah was killed, Godzilla began having a meltdown from his nuclear reactor, (he was burning Godzilla in this film.) which sadly caused him to melt to his death. There was silence for a few minutes or so, and the same roar Godzilla has was heard by a few people who witnessed his death I believe. The camera pans onto Godzilla Jr, who surprisingly absorbed the radiation his father left after he died.
