Haha I get that a lot! Since my hair is fine, lower density, and healthy, I don't need much product. But most people definitely need more than I do. So many people struggle with letting go control and the need to have perfectly frizz free curls (which don't exit) so you're not alone. Good luck!

I mean, I didn't have "no frizz" but it was nice enough I didn't need to refresh. I got rained on yesterday and it did frizz, but I don't expect anything to work at that point lol

If you want to stick with EVOLVh, the Supercurl Cream and SmartCurl leave in are perfect. Their curls trial lit has both of those products along with shampoo and conditioner. Otherwise, use any leave in and cream to get that moisture in.

Yes, they are slightly less moisturizing.

Just add some water while applying. It doesn't have to be wet but wetter thwn damp is ideal. I'd layer mousse under or over this as usual. I'll have to look into Virtue. I have heard about it a few times.

I can't find where I saw it on their site but they use human hair keratin from small wig makers in Asia. They use the hair that falls out when making a wig, and would normally be swept up and thrown away to extract keratin and use in regenerative medicine style (one owner did regen medicine for soldiers and they noticed the hair was better). One use = 22% thicker hair. My hair has trouble with conditioners & I use a photo log and after 1 month the diff was amazing. As much as my hair is anti emollient, the conditioner is both light and hydrating enough that I need a 1/4 golf ball of the curl whip. Texture means a little grittiness, the opposite of soft. Almost like when your hair has salt water in it, but not as extreme. It helps if your hair is really soft so it can actually hold a style and volume for more than a few minutes.

Oh that's tough! I don't really get a cast with anything so no. Their foam has no hold and I don't think it gives anyone else a cast. It's more for volume. This gel can give a light cast to some (not me).

I have and I have a full review on my blog that includes nearly every products they offer. The UltraShine is only slightly less moisturizing. Barely a difference and I can use either line without any issues.
