I would prefer Martinus, Minamoto, Joseph Johnston..some other notable mentions: Gwangaeto, Scipio 2) Yue Fei - Not suitable for a wall general (you wouldn't want to defend with your cavalry). Attacking generals are better when they are more focused on a single troop. For example, Trajan is a better version ground of Yue Fei. Martinus is a better cavalry version of Yue Fei. Kusunoki Masashige - Not great. He's like a weaker version of Joseph E. Johnston. Defending with cavalry is a really, really bad idea so ignore that stat completely. 35% ranged attack on KM vs 20% ranged + 20% siege on JEJ

I’m my opinion he’s good for sending to relics and/or alliance mine but if you can get Constance (+20% resources & +20% troops load) she’s superior for resource tiles. Troop load isn’t as important where you have a finite amount of resources to collect unless you don’t have enough troops available to completely clear the tile. You’re better off focussing on extra resource (1st) and gathering speed (2nd). There is also Shimazo Yoshihiro who gives you 30% extra on food only, and 10% gathering speed increase. They are purple generals so should be easier/cheaper to obtain. Edit: I just read in the comments below that Constance wasn’t available when Miser made this video.

I'm planning another video in a day or two to discuss subordinate city generals and what they need. If you are talking about duty officers instead, you only need to meet the requirements for that specific building. Specials are usually about 1300 or so of 2 stats and 3.3 million power.

Not sure what the rate was. It was a long time ago. The rate also varies based on supply and demand. Maybe just ask for offers. Queen Jindeok and Baibars are super important. If you aren't short of gems, maybe try once at tavern 27/28. If they come up, grab them. However, you can also grab Cleopatras in place of the Baibars temporarily to make sure you have 5. Then at 30 you can try again for the last ones.

@@The_Miser if we use 5 marches to join rally that is at least 100 stamina at one go. I know you covered stamina in another video, I just wonder if it is normal to buy the 50 stamina regularly in order to join boss rally?

You can't add a book of the same type. If the book already exists as a higher level book or the skill is there as the general's skill, the game will not allow you to add it. Gear if you can get the special level and then unequip the gear after. If you cant, dont worry about gear. Dont bother with skill books.

Hi Geovani, personally I'd recommend focusing on non pvp aspects of the game until you upper keep level or near the top on the server. PVP tends to be wasted resources and stunted growth until you reach end-game. Once you are near the top, I'd recommend focusing on archer, siege, or ground as a main troop. Ground tends to be the most gear-forgiving, so if you don't spend a lot, I'd recommended beefing up your ground stats and getting a decent and easily obtainable ground general like Trajan. As far as troop composition, there's no firm percentage. You train what you can. Having more of your main troop is great, but beefy layers are super important as well as a mix of troops. Archers and siege are great, but what most players fail to realize is that most players also have debuffs to counter those troops through sub city generals. Conversely, ground is the least affected of all troops because there's simply fewer options to debuff ground troops.

For ground troops i have level 1s to level 10s, was told to dismiss the lower levels as the higher troops are the ones useful. But i think in pvp they are useful meatshields? Hi Manlai, My suggestion here depends on your setup as a kingdom. If you are following my "no-army" growth strategy, then I would suggest you focus on two primary resource types to max out building plots, and focus the other two as gathering. This makes it more possible to max out the research that has the most impact very quickly. Here's what I mean: There are 30 tiles total, but 1 is needed for army camp so let's say you have 29 possible. You might choose to focus on wood and stone for in-city production. For this, I might do 10 sawmill, 10 quarry, 6 mine, 4 farm. For research, I would focus on in-city: wood, quarry & gathering ore, food My Queen Jindeoks would have gear refinement focus of ore, food (though if other good ones come up I'd keep them) If you have an army or have pretty even technology for gathering/in-city etc, you might choose to have something like: 1 farm, 10 sawmill, 10 quarry, 8 mine If you are max level and need to focus more on troop train than buildings, you might instead have army camps rather than the additional resources to improve training speed. In this case, you would have more of a focus on gathering.

About 30-50% of that comes from various events including the returns from the resource consumption, etc. Other significant sources of resources are in-city production, resource gathering, hitting other players, and bosses (especially event bosses like turtles, witches, golems). It takes about 2 months to accumulate the resources here (every resource consumption).

I would focus on keep level, yes. It's the biggest impact on your kingdom.

Tavern. Vikings are the easiest source of gold.

There are worse, but I wouldn't say he's great either. Cavalry and siege is a really weird skill mix. You generally don't want to have cavalry involved in most pvp battles.
