T14-25%
T13-25%

Main troop type-75%
Seige-10%
Protecting troop (against your main troops weakness(10%)

There is a small math error that had been throwing me off. Otherwise, it is a great video. He starts out with 1,200,000 troops and says 75% for Ground, 10% for Siege, 10% for Archers and 5% for Mounted. He multiplies 1,200,000 by 75% and gets 900,000. The math error is that he now uses the 900,000 to calculate the 10% for Siege and Archers (90,000 each) and 5% for Mounted (45,000) when 1,200,000 should have been used. When you add everything back up, you only get 1,125,000 troops and not the 1,200,000. Needless to say, these numbers don't have to be exact for the game.

Awesome, some people prefer a slightly higher level of 12s, but find what works for you.

Layers have changed! Keeps having 100m t1 troops are near impossible to kill the higher troop tiers. The t1s take the brunt of attacks and so adding many extra t1s in attacked keeps them busy enough to take out the upper tier troops. Very effective defense from most players. Even at lower quality buffs/debuffs. Something to keep in mind.

@@dragnet53 like 300 million t1 troops! Seen some have only cavs to guard against range attacks. Others have ground of that number. Others have every troop type in the hundreds of millions of t1! And solo attacks are fruitless. Need to rally with lots of t1 to counter. They also use flat refines on wall gen. Works very well for defense from what I have seen.

I used this and it made a huge difference. I'm currently first in our servers KE thanks to you. {Our server is very new} By the way, what should be my next goal in getting stronger? I can get to K32 but I'd have no resources left.. Should I max out march size for K31 and build more archers with my remaining resources, or should I be content and go to K32? I can currently defeat people 40% more powerful than me with only my lower tier layers dying.

Yes of course, if I were setting a march for T11 and down, I would go top heavy....instead of 25,25,35....I would change it to about 65%- T11, 25% T10, and then 10% for your layers...Just make it top heavy.

Hahaha... and i heared the theory, that T12 is just programmed to always attack the highest troop (same reason, back in the day highest tier). So T12 are directly aiming for T13/T14 and ignore any layer :) But from my side it is easy, if there are so many rumors about T12, it might be not important what exactly is correct, but some truth must be behind it. Even if its hard to proof.

Exactly, no one really knows what it is that makes 12 special, but they think it has something to do with 12 being the highest tier back when throne was introduced. Regardless, 12 is a must have troop in any march and in any defense.

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis what you mean by when throne was introduced. lol. Throne was introduced back when t10s were the stronger troops. There's some theory about why t12s go higher in percentage, and its because of range of the troops and troop quantity/troop power. pretty much, every time you are defending, cavs will get hit first no matter what, and t14 cavs are the first target because of their speed. so, a higher buffed t12 will do just enough damage to damage t14 cavs equally, which means you lose less power while damaging more than you lost.

theres nothing really "special" about t12s. if you do the test and place a 25/25/35% preset in a tile and let someone hit with a 80/10/10% higher t14, the t14 hit will win most likely. but ofc it always depends on many stuff like buffs and debuffs, range, etc.

@@TeneGamer All horse run at the same speed but yeah the higher ones seem to be targeted first. What you described is the basic reason why everyone does archer attack, because even if the attacker is outmatched...the archers will atleast get a few rounds off on the cavs and win the power swap...

@@TeneGamer You are absolutely correct in a tile battle, as both people would have the same number of troops (in theory) so if one person had 1.5m T14s they would defeat a mix layering of 1.5m troops. Noone really knows the battle mechanics which is unfortunate but over millions of battles of people looking through the data it appears the 13,14s seem to act more as meat shields while the 12s get the majority of the kills.

Nice vid…though you said t12 usually kill more than any other tier, isn’t the reason simply because there are more t12 in the layering?

Im sure thats a factor...but % wise they kill or used to kill way more..the update has changed things..T13 is stronger than before...debatable if they kill more than 12 or similar now.

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis k33, 1.2m March for ground cav an arch give or take. T13s a good amount about 600k each cav range ground an 250k Sieges. Stick with these numbers? Any help super appreciated 🙏

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis the bigs in my alliance, all do different stuff an they don't really tell you an explain, I guess I'll just got with this an still put a a little more t12s in than t13 . I set my layers up like this for chalon, an did quite well. We won an i got some good hits an wins on so k34 an k35s that has never happend.. so I think I'm on the right track with my pvp layer marches. Still any help an response would be great 👍 thanks

Evony 1 was an amazing game, if only they could have fixed the food issue...I liked the hours long attacks...better suited for adults with jobs I think.

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Yes I agree I enjoyed age 1 a lot more than the mobile game. It was fun having 9 cities with millions of scouts and scout bombing to kill traps and then sending in the 92,000 archers with layers attacks. lol

I would keep the % the same on 12s...and flip the 25,25, to the 10-11s...maybe add a little more to the 12s

I want to ask if we scout enemy castle, they have more mounted troop in city then what we should use more in percentage ranged or mounted...

Keep the percentage the same but make it a ranged attack.

@@famakhan5348 You need to open General packs..either by paying money or getting them in select events such as the General hall, or the battlefield shop.

Honestly, nearly zero...make the 500 a day for the activity...and ride the coattails of your alliance...put all your resources towards buildings and get up to K30+ before you start making troops...make some double generals (baibars, cleopatra) and put double rings on them and just send 1 troop to every rally....You will help them by posting bosses for them...not everyone needs troops right away.
