The reason I do this is usually that players don't like to sit and watch videos that are too long in my experience. This is hopefully being fixed by me moving to a series format instead so things like an attack guide are broken up into sub topics. I have since then started working on range troops after seeing this particular video of yours 2 weeks ago, and I can't thank you enough how informative all your videos are, even posted links of your channel in our alliance to help our newer players understand the game. Anyways, luck was on my side, I opened todays Generals chest and got me an epic Minamoto no Yoshitsune, which got me thinking, I gotta check back your channel and seek advice. So here I am lol. Okay, with regards to Minamoto, what skills would you advice to have on him? Because im deciding on building him up as PVP gen. In addition to that, What refining attributes would be best for a Celtic Dragon for him? I'm just so pleased and happy that things are making sense with the generals I have on this Range department. Im really not sure if I have the best, but its all I have at the moment. John l of Portugal - Archer Camp Duty Officer Ban Chao - Archer Camp Duty Officer Ly Thoung Kiet - Main City Defense Officer Minamoto no Yoshitsune - PVP General Can you help me figure the best skills for the above generals? Thank you for the kind words and support on my channel! Although questions, especially longer ones can be time consuming to double check etc to ensure they are giving the correct information, it allows me to challenge myself on things I may not usually have the energy to otherwise be checking regularly, which improves my own knowledge or solidifies my ideas.. so dont be afraid to ask additional questions, but try to make new comments each time on any video as they are easier for me to find that way Minamoto will not have the ability to have a ranged attack boost, however you may add the following Ranged HP, Defence and Ranged troop range bonus. When it comes to your city defence general you can have the above but replace defence with attack All other generals you mentioned (in duties) will not be boosted by skill books (other than the default ones that you already understand) Celtic can be used on PvP generals until you get better, you could give it to your minamoto until you can get a 2nd dragon, add in ranged or siege buffs in the refines. My preset may have no ground here based on the fact they will die much more than other troop types, minimizing their use in attack, unless attacking a lot of ranged troops, will reduce them to a simple role of being a meatshield. If you send a mixed march of troops, ground tend to die in droves and kill nothing themselves. This is similar to mounted troops as well, be sure to check out my layering video on this that is a little better than this attacking guide

By the way, I went thru some of your videos, and realize during battle of Guagemala I lost tons of traps, I thought it was a waste, as they dont get revive or repaired, so I may have to drop Ly Thoung Kiet and put in a different main city defense general Joseph E. Johnston. Since I have quiet a number of mounted troops and starting a range troop, hopefully he will do much better job. Also, I just wanted to clear out about the duty generals, so I dont basically have to add in some skill books on them as the only effect would be his default skill, is that what it's meant? Keep those nice tips and videos coming, you are one helluva great advisor.

I actually do not know exactly why this is the case, as a lot of battle mechanics have to be deduced via trial and error, and are not open knowledge by any means. I have taken this stance due to some other people that have been talking about it, what I tend to see focused by bigger players in All Stars Battlefield and skill books used by a majority of players. I have been told defence is better on ground however.

I take this as a catch-all term, therefore there is not a specific thing to advise. When scouting a players city you may find that their reinforcements and/or troop setup is able to be overwhelmed by your alliance.. if that is the case simply use the best possible marches based on what they have, as usual. Mounted beat ground ground beat ranged ranged beat mounted. If you find a city has enormous amounts of troops, you may either want to avoid it for the duration of a war or opt to chip it down hit by hit using either siege rallies or whatever suits the situation best otherwise. It can incurr losses on hits until you get through a substantial amount of their troops sometimes, therefore it may be a difficult choice to still attack said player.

When the keep gets forceported it auto heals the walls. So you can follow and continue then will forceport once walls hit zero again. Just keep following it until you have all the res. Server reset has nothing to do with it

How to hit bigger player? Any tips for strong defence?

If you are significantly smaller, generally you can't hit them. This is nuanced but it would make it confusing so I'd instead say to join large alliances to have them help you hit these people, rather than kill your troops trying yourself. A strong defense requires using every facet of the game from generals, monarch/general gear, research, artifacts, dragons, duty generals and more so its hard to point and say one thing only. In general, you can't affect an outcome in a battle with a significantly larger player, unless using reinforcements from your allies to assist, or if you are hundreds of millions in power minimum. This is why I suggest using truce agreements when possible throughout kill events and only attack targets you know you can beat, while always being careful that you aren't attacked by a bigger foe while you are vulnerable.

Increasing gathering speed through research, obtaining queen jindeok generals for faster gathering, levelling up generals for faster gathering and participating in events of all kinds to get rewards, which include resources sometimes. Materials are to be gotten from events, boss monster kills, resource gathering, regular monsters, research factory production and other general activities. You can decrease the time on gear by using the crafting crown in the monarch gear which can be found in the avtar icon

Vikings for materials. My alliance does enough Vikings that some people are making 1 Arch gear per week. I personally burn about 5-6k stamina per Viking event. Another way to gauge how many Vikings we run is based on axes collected. I typically collect between 200-250 axe per week. Some of the more hardcore players are doing 300-400 per week (all Hard difficulty). Your alliance/server may not be at that level yet but it's good to start taking Vikings serious as early as possible. Gear gets really expensive, so start early and save.

This would be due to the remaining resources they have are protected by their warehouse building. This can be from a million or so to tens of millions protected for a typical player.

If you are a leader in an alliance (R5 and R4) you will have the ability to force someone to teleport away from your alliance city area. This will start a countdown until they are randomly teleported away from you, although it will cost around 2k gems to do this. It is not really very worthwhile because they can just use a teleport item to come back again

Must be nice to be on a server that actually has bandwidth. That kind of activity would crash our crappy server. Over here in crappy town server 1208 we get stuck in buildings, have marches that take several minutes to "prepare" , teleports that that doesn't work, incoming attacks that land before you are even notified one is on its way and a stack of unanswered tech support tickets as tall as a man. The developers of this game are seriously disproportionately applying resources to the point where it's not even worth try BOG, BOC or server War.

When a player has a warehouse their resources can be protected up to a certain amount, often players will protected a few million or much, much more in some cases. This cannot be gotten past and therefore you will need to find a player with more resources

the arrest warrant item gives them the ability to find you instantly. You are not able to prevent this easily, changing names may help as it will make you harder to search for when using a warrant however ensuring you are in an alliance that will help protect you, is the better option long term

Is it best to take mostly *Archers* to hit an enemy city, or do you need *Siege* as well?? I only ask because I would assume that you need *Siege* to get through the walls, as it feels like arrows would do little damage to actual walls!!

well these games don't tend to take things that seriously! Although it is still good practice to use a little of everything, including siege when attacking players, I do suggest using predominantly archers until Keep 32+.

Although traps are not too bad, and can give power a little easier.. they tend to die a lot, especially during battlefield events. Therefore I don't recommend building them up by speeding them at the least. Also due to this I have not personally tried to experiment with them in this manor, even if it works the same, it won't be nearly as useful as troop layering as you can have many more troops than traps. If you wanted to give it a try just train 1000 of each and then stick to your highest traps for best effect

If you are losing your generals you must go to the shrine building and revive them from there so that they may fight again. Alternatively you could also get some new generals from the tavern building

This happens when your keep building is below level 11, also as you must have just started to play the game, you can just wait 2-3 days (since you started) and you will no longer be in a beginner protection period.

I have a quick question - I have found a real whale that is inactive on the game. Stacked of resources. I know if I attack them 10 times they automatically teleport, do you know when this timer resets, is it every 24 hours or shorter? Want to save my teleports and not move every 10 hits!

They will automatically teleport based on their walls HP going to zero, I have not tested to see if walls repair themselves like that i don't tend to pay attention but the reset time is at around 7-8AM game time (in the settings) or when events end etc

So I used 8 arrest warrants and 8 teleports following this guy around, he is inactive and automatically teleported on the 10th attack each time I moved with him. So I guess I’ll wait a solid 24 hours before hitting him again to stop wasting my teleports haha

You will need to use mounted troops with a general that is good with that type. This is the best option for attacking bosses and winning. Ensure you upgrade your generals and produce more mounted troops so that you are higher power than a boss. Ensure you train the highest tier possible as well

There is something terribly wrong in the current game. the leaders are making rules about the game that has taken the fun out of the game, you can only attack other alliances 3 days in the week. It is much better to play outside of an alliance. You can attack anyone at any time. I can't believe a war game deteriated into this. Sadly there isn't a way to contact support. I would like to know what the rules really are.

The servers when people attack each other all the time are failures. A vast majority of servers that do well in cross-server events (mandatory for growth) will have initiatives like this to ensure no matter your size and activity levels throughout the week, you all have a chance to grow. Those servers that fail to do this drive away hundreds of players that are getting attacked often and they take their friends with them elsewhere. This will make your server vs server events 5x harder as you have less people to defend key buildings and reduces the team work that is crucial to success. The game can be boring and unfortunately that is the developers fault and not your servers players, they are simply doing what everyone does.

@@EvonyGuides I would dispute that, in the server i'm in the leaders are moderating game in their favor, they have agreed not to attack each other. the alliances are reglated to enforce the laws the elite have imposed. very difficult to attack. It has become boring. I'm at level 28 and the leaders keep changing the rules of their game. These rules prevent attacking other players that are in an alliance, I an currently without an alliance lost all motive to play this game anymore. No way to contact support, no in game way to contact moderators

This type of behaviour is not against the terms of service so you cannot change this on your server. It may be true what you are saying but it is equally possible that you mean they are protecting top 5 alliances in particular. Anyone not in a top 5 alliance are not growing properly. This is just how the game is because the developers open too many servers regularly meaning only the top 250 people in a server are any good usually, hence your players may be focusing on top alliances and not wasting time with inactive ones. This is the normal thing in every server, although perhaps they are worse in your server based on your comments. If you wish to play something else is the same genre, it may be better, but often it is the same experience for the same reasons unfortunately.

This elite group changes the rules of game play to fit how they wish to play, even worse the rest of the realm is given late notice of these changes. This top group will drive players they don't wish to have them play from the game. How can you defend this type of play?

The developers of the game open servers every other day usually meaning that most players that join don't stay long because they delete the game naturally. This is the case especially because of false marketing. You may see a lot of people in the beginning but very few are left. This game requires a lot of time to stay competitive or otherwise 10k+ USD a year. It's nothing to do with players and everything to do with Top Games Inc. I'm saying 250 players because it's simply a fact, not because elite players make up some arbitrary number and ignore everyone. As said previously, the game simply requires so much time that very few people will actually be active enough to make a difference in Server vs Server events in particular, especially when going up against spending players. Developers fault.

Can you do a vid on how to secure the throne for the first time? Everyone in my state is new to the game and we want to do it but not sure how.

The players that tend to take the throne first will have spent 1,000 or more each in just one week. I cannot afford to do this to try and beat players to the punch when taking the throne. Although I could make a guide based on theoretical numbers or from reports of a couple people, it isn't as definitive as me doing it myself for a video, therefore I probably won't cover this topic for a while. If you or your friends have 30 million power (2 or 3 of them) with 1M+ generals and keep 30 they should take it relatively easy. If you do not have large players like this in your alliance it will be impossible to take it for a long time.

@@EvonyGuides im r5 with t11 base 28, with 45 million power. I have 4 r4s all base 29 to 30 all over 50 million power. Then the alliance is at 800 million power as a whole with 96 members. I read a forum on reditt and have the numbers and order in which to secure it. Thanks for responding though.

The cultures are best chosen based on the benefits of the sub city that they provide. Korea is good for obtaining resources, japan increases your attack power and russia for defence. Europe increases construction speed of buildings if you require that more than anything else. It is good to change the culture over time to meet your needs

NPC's are only found when attacking unowned subordinate cities, these cities are smaller than others and the name will say NPC in it. The rest of the cities that you see are real players. The reason you might not find resources in some player's cities is that their warehouse building is protecting anything they currently have, this cannot be overcome. It is better to attack larger level players to have a better chance at stealing resources.

use truce agreements to prevent them attacking your cities, if they are preventing you from resource gathering just try to use tier one siege to minimize losses. You will not be able to defeat them or fight back in any major way it's just about making it hard for them to attack you and gain anything.

You can upgrade the warehouse, complete upkeep reducing researches such as cooking under the defense tab, silo in advancement and more! Also making sure you stay under the protected food amount at all times by using it or storing it in the alliance warehouse building ( if it is built), you can check the protection amount in your cities warehouse building details

It is for players that wish to get the most rewards and therefore grow their city/army. Monarch events themselves are kind of trash but SvS rewards can be good if you are careful to not lose troops

When I'm attacking and winning, I am not getting the enemy's resources. What could be the reason?

The warehouse building and researches enable a player to protect a certain amount of resources from being stolen, therefore potentially many millions of resources cannot be stolen. This only changes if they have more than their protected amount, meaning you can steal any excess. It may be better to attack higher level players for resources

Quick question: I started playing recently and I have unlocked both Edward the black prince and Sanada Yukimura (purple general), I noticed (before leveling them up) the stats on Sanada are a bit higher than Edward's so I chose him as my main general and buffed him up. So my question is what do you think of both generals generally and can you compare both and how one would be better and in what way? Thanks man! 😚

sanada is a good starter general to use against monsters and boss monsters however he is useless against other players. This means both are good to use, sanada against monsters and the prince against real players cities or defending your own city

The special skill book that comes with good generals is what determines a good general or not, including if the general is purple or gold. Sana'a has a skill book that mentions monsters only, whereas black Prince mentions simply leading the army (PvP). Also it is preferred to have a general that has high stats for one troop type mostly, not a small amount for every troop type as that is a waste

Q1) Does adding a stronger general as mayor in the sub city makes it develop faster (the buildings' construction speed, the production of gold and troops training)? Q2) do stronger generals in sub cities help you better with your attacks and the defense of your city? Q3) how do you determine which general is best for sub cities growth? And to be specific I have 3 European exxcelent sub cities and the default sub (4 total) and I have these generals included below: Sanada Edward block prince Princess lucy Constance Spartacus Attila Theodora Ulysses.S.grant Cleopatra. So could you please choose which generals would be best for the 4 sub cities and what I can do with the other generals? Thank you so much man! This will help me allot with efficient progress 🌹🌹

@@Abood-pi4rx Subordinate cities can be upgraded like a regular city however levelling them serve very little benefit in any aspect of the game. You can do research to build them or troops quicker, have special skill books added to generals but is mostly able to be ignored in my opinion. This also means all of the generals you have listed should not be used in a subordinate as they are better used elsewhere. You can recruit terrible blue generals in the tavern for cheap to place there while you try to recruit generals that have debuff skill books. These generals, when applied in a sub, can reduce the stats of your enemy when defending your city (if ticked on in the subordinate tab or when attacking other players). These generals include empress cixi and nero for example. I do have a video for these generals here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ic5-h6ViqN-6ZGw.html this is an old video so there are new generals that fit into this catogory so make sure to lookout for other generals with the same wording in their skill book which is "reduces"

You will need to work towards the formation and super adv dispatch in your academy, under military. These researches will each give you 2 march slots for additional attacks, also you may get another from VIP 5 which can be viewed in the top left of your screen. You will need to activate your VIP with VIP time items and may level it up just by logging in each day or purchasing packages.

after unlocking many march slots you simply will need to have sufficient troops to send multiple attacks, the same as you would for just the one

How do you send more troops than what it is saying? I have 136,000 troops and I can't kill NO bosses, only wants to send 30,000 troops.

In order to send more troops you can add march size skill books to your generals, increase the level of rally spot inside your city and upgrade related researches in the academy building. Always remember to upgrade you mounted troop research, use mounted based generals with ONLY mounted troops against regular non-event bosses for best effect.

As a keep 14, how many army camp should I build?

Probably 3-5 but you could even hold off and replace resource tiles later as troops are only needed at keep 21+ in my opinion, although it depends on if you are active. If in doubt, 5 is the middle ground to go with as the max possible is 10.

You will want 10-15M march power minimum. This is 400k T11 cavalry, 270k T12 etc but always get the highest stats possible to assist of course

a majority of videos are not watched the entire length by most people, even those that are quite short. This means details like this can sometimes be left out in the interest of time. Although you did the right thing asking here as I may answer! When choosing someone to attack, make sure that you click onto their profile to see whether or not they are a similar power level to yourself. If they are slightly higher power or lower than yourself then prepare yourself for possible battle. If you think it is necessary due to them being far from you it is best to teleport right next to them. After this you may scout them to ensure that their defending army is not going to be an issue for your own, for instance if they have mostly archers and you have mounted, you might want to not attack them. Also note that the primary reason for attacking someone in your own server is going to be for resources unless you are in a kill event currently. so be sure to check your scout report for this, as simply randomly attacking a player is not particularly beneficial to you otherwise.

You need to increase your cavalry research, use generals, skill books and gear that are best for cavalry any be sure to use anything in your power to increase the effectiveness of cavalry when marching upon regular bosses. This means using the highest tier possible of mounted, for this level I would recommend using Tier 10 as much as you can. 200k T10 general will kill even a boss 10 if you get your stats up for cavalry.

I have that many sub cities based off of my ranking the the "rank ranking" leaderboards. This can be achieved by attacking monsters, boss monsters and offering in the shrine for prestige. You will need a certain threshold of Prestige and be highly ranked in the leaderboard to get an extra slot, although I have now dropped in the leaderboard I already had 8 subs and therefore cannot lose one.

You may decrease the food upkeep by leveling up your warehouse, completing researches to lower upkeep, getting lucky on winning or buying shajar (epic general) which can be assigned as defense general to lower upkeep as well. This will allow you to have as much food as possible without it being able to be eaten, however it is not always easy to use your food up before your troops do so consider using an alliance warehouse building to store food each day which can be retrieved at a later date. You can check out how much food is currently protected by clicking your warehouse and adding the regular number and green number under food protected from upkeep!

Evony Guides hey man another thing. I have cleo but I have sunk politics into her instead of attack and she’s level 16 right now with over 300 politics and her attack is quite low. Her politics and attack do go up a good bit though. Have I ruined her?

@@1chrissymc You can always try to use the 10x gem cultivation on attack only to see if it will go up easier but some generals will go up quicker in certain attributes over others anyway. Although cleopatra is good to increase the reward on boss monsters, she isn't useful for much else specifically at least. If you are able to find another general that specifically boosts a particular troop type, hopefully mounted or ranged.. they may be a better choice to invest in and perhaps will give a higher attack value, although this will be better on a gold histroic general

When attacking a player, your troops will automatically steal as many resources as they may carry, provided that you win the battle. If this does not occur it is because the person you attacked has their resources protected by the warehouse building. To avoid this, simply attack players that have more resources, by first scouting them to find this out or otherwise attack higher level players that are less likely to protect all resources inside of the limited capacity warehouse building.

The VIP level is primarily upgraded by purchasing packages, however, simply logging in each day will also earn VIP points over time. It is much better if you log in consecutively, therefore try to log into the game for at least a minute each day to obtain VIP points.

@@pavanb4794 You will need to train more mounted troops and send them to the monster to kill them. Make sure you only send mounted and avoid sending other types of troops. Make sure to add on some gear to your general and research some military stats in the academy!
