Жыл бұрынLet's try out some of the National / Panasonic NV-850 HiFi Stereo VCRs from my collection and see if we can get at least one of them working.
Some fault finding was required for this. The service manual is very helpful.

@@Elecami yea those older ones have a lot more electronic packed inside. Also, I was wondering if you’ve ever seen any of my videos, particularly the avionics teardowns. You might find them interesting. .

I've seen this model rebadged as a Blaupunkt and Canon as well. I guess it was a way for these companies to get in on the VHS market without having to invest in manufacturing plants.

I guess it benefits the OEM selling more unit and the 'Brand' getting their name on more stuff and the markup profit.

How are you, my friend? I have a National VCR, model NV 480. The malfunction shows the illumination of the numbers on the first screen and the second screen is weak.. so what is the malfunction?

Display worn out / bad or bad power supplies or bad display driver.
