The 12th annual meeting of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine in Espoo, Finland, brought together over 200 participants from all the partnership's nodes: FIMM (Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland), which was hosting the meeting in Espoo, Finland, DANDRITE (Danish Institute for Translational Neuroscience), MIMS (The Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden), NCMM (Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway), as well as EMBL.
In this video, Ewan Birney, Deputy Director General of EMBL and Joint Director of EMBL-EBI, explains the value of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for research, services, training, innovation and translation at its nodes. He also talks about how the profiles of each of the partners complement each other for mutual benefit.
