I know there was controversy around them getting together because of them being in relationships/ married etc but I won't pretend to ever know what's going on in anyone's marriage much less a celebrity and I'm glad the family seem to be settling into something normal and functional. They both seem very much in love in all their interviews. I always liked both of them separately - Ewan since Trainspotting (obv) and Mary from Scott Pilgrim (and Death Proof). And A Gentleman in Moscow is an incredible novel so fans of the series should definitely check it out!

I love Obi-wan, he’s in my top 5 favourite Star Wars characters and I especially love Ewan as him. I wouldn’t mind a season 2 as long as it’s good but I would be very scared because honestly for me the first season is the worst thing they’ve ever put out with live action Star Wars. For me it was honestly more disrespectful and of worse quality than even the Sequel Trilogy which hurt because it was the thing I was by far the most hyped for and the easiest to get right imo. Just have it be a low budget intimate tragic character study about PTSD in the desert. Instead they went with the stupid dumbest action and plots I have ever seen apart from the ST and ruined everything and every character they brought in excluding only Bail. All they had to do was copy the Kenobi book ffs, it’s right there written by infinitely better writers and is actually an engaging smart story. Would have been better as a film than show too but no one in charge of Star Wars is competent at all

They met on a show, he cheated on his wife with her, she did on a boyfriend or something herself, after the fallout settled they were both divorced or broken up after their partners found out etc but it was more than just an affair I guess because they both never split since / got married soon after. Like it was literally a messy situation but they seem to be genuinely in love. So on one hand, I hate the mess it made of others lives / how shitty they weee for being cheaters, but on the other I love that they’re happy, I love Ewan as Obi wan, and Mary plays 2 of my favorite female characters, so I want to love them both completely but I am miffed about how things went down. But I’m an outsider looking in and part of me wants to route for their love / understand we all have faults and like them messing up or falling in love while being with other people is a human thing & what any of us might do in the same situation kind of. Like I’d hope not but also I feel like none of us can say “oh I wouldn’t do that” because how can we know without being in the exact same situation? Maybe we wouldn’t do that though but in another instance whose to say we wouldn’t do the bad or questionable thing which is following our heart or emotion etc at the time but we somewhat regret later. Basically trying to empathize is my point with that long response….still though it twists me up a bit the way things went down cause it’s like I just wish they’d chosen a better way to handle it/ get together at first. Break off other relationships first.

Ignore the above, it's just speculation. There's no proof. The timelines suggest that their meeting (on Fargo) may have led to both of their respective relationship's downfalls but there's no actual proof of any actual cheating.

there is 0 proof they cheated. salty "fans" spread that rumor. Ewan and Eve separated in 2017 many months before Ewan and Mary were spotted kissing.

@@6RshEuH2 it always surprises me some people say that Ewan cheated but probably failed to understand that the actor and his ex partner Eve were probably heading towards a separation/divorce as not all marriages, be it us normal folk or celebrities last forever, those two probably realised that their relationship was starting to fail so they got out before it could get worse, it was probably a mutual decision between Ewan and Eve, heck Ewan and Mary went to spend a holiday with Eve and her new partner and they all had a wonderful time together, if he did cheat on Eve with Mary then I doubt Eve would have spent a holiday with Ewan and Mary

I think this is the first time I've actually seen them together and gosh they are so adorable with their hand holding. Ewan even kisses her hand at the end.
