Ewan Cunningham, 17 years old! I'm from Falkirk, Scotland.
This is a cover of "Time" by Pink Floyd.
Filmed and edited by me, audio edited on Cubase 7 by me.
Using my Tama Superstar Hyperdrive kit, I love it.
I am self taught!

Hi Ewan, big fan. I have just started drums and you are a great inspiration. This is going to be my first song that I record, how do I get a drumless track for Time? I did find some tracks online but none of them were as clean as what you used.

This is my favorite Pink Floyd song and have listened to the intro more than a hundred times. I have always wanted to see how the opening drum sequence was played because as a non-musician, the initial timing seems so erratic. I'm SO glad glad you did this cover; I watch it over and over.

@@moseytransport7253 you might find it interesting to see my cover of Time as I have programmed my Roland to do the Rototom intro as well as the acoustic drum kit. I don't compete with anyone on this issue. It's just a matter of doing it right, if one has the tools for the job.

@@sp1epiphany I don’t think so. Playing from tabs or sheet music sounds quite robotic or automatic. This guy is playing Nick Mason with all the subtle nuances that appear in the original studio recording. I’ve watched this guy do other Pink Floyd covers, and I truly believe he just has listened to the music that intently and well and absorbed every drum beat to memory

My friend, I'm learning quite a bit from you. Yours is way faithful to Nick's style and I've been watching over a few others too like Echoes.
