Wow, that's pretty awesome!!! I should have thrown myself into this back when it was my first love,'88-'89 prime vintage days. That whole business was hard to get any information back then and I've never been very tech savvy, but i knew back then there was money to be made. Problem was, life happened and i couldn't wsit to stock pile and didn't have the space. Long story short I've always chased this, but never had a huge score. My newphew once dropped off about 40-50 pcs one summer and i thought i was in heaven a few weeks. But here i am still tinkering with this. I highly commend you on your knowledge and research that you've done and shared with us all. You did what i never got balls enough to just quit and persue. ive always regarded you as the best scrapper when it comes to escrap, however i do watch a lot of others doing different things. Don't take this the wrong way,but you were probably the first, then moose and so on, but i feel like a lot of these people got what they do from you. Like i said, i actually had a big interest in doing this, regret not chasing the dream now, but don't think I'd have ever topped you out. A big thanks to all you do for educating so many of us. dan0

You can save tons of gas if you just park your van at the beginning of the street and push a big cart and fill it up then go back and do it all over again on another street. The in and out of the van is tiresome better to walk and pick you can move quicker too.

I am in Switzerland. By far I found two laptops, two Samsung tv, 3 monitors, one pc, and loads of petty stuff

Break the antennae off the boom box. Easy brass!

You need to check the sword for markings, certain markings could make it a very valuable blade even without the handle.

I watch 'Mike the Scavenger' who is in Texas and he only picks up metals of all description and it frustrates me watching him leave beautiful wood products! He goes around commercial units and I was wondering if there are any of those in your area? Sometimes he gets NOS by the truck load that if you could here in Aus could be a real bonus for you (talking electronics. lights and medical electronics)

Im really surprised how people in depeloved contries throw away that kind of stuff, i mean, in my country you can find good things sometimes (i did) but in this case that you can see in this video is another level, theres so many interesting things in good or decent condition that in my country are expensive and its no so easy afford it here.. If I lived in that place, I would go out those days and return with the van full of things for me and to sell. Greetings from Argentina

I occurred to me, watching you open and close the side doors to the van over the years. It would be useful to install nets inside the doors that go about half way up. That way you can drive around with the doors open and nothing will fall out. Less wear and tear on the doors and yourself maybe.
