Yes, it should, but it won't because people don't want to think about hell. if there's a hell that means there's accountability, which means you can't just " do your thing", live however you want, and send God a text message that we're living in New times now and some of His Word just isn't politically correct anymore. Noone wants to hear that, Even though it's the truth.

I was thinking the same thing! The fact that it was a " vine" he grabbed a hold of was no accident. I've discovered ( and it took me 50 years to realize it) that there are no coincidences with God. Every slight thing, every word in the Bible has its meaning. Honestly, there are scripture passages I've read for 40 years, and then all of a sudden, 1 day, you read it, and the Lord shows you something in it, you never saw. it's like an onion that you can keep peeling and peeling and peeling, and you can never say, I understand the whole Bible. The day you find yourself doing that, you've missed it. and in thinking yourself wise, you've become a fool. As you change, The Lord let's you see more, and the more you see, the more humble you get, and the more you realize you don't know. But every little thing is significant, that I truly believe.

He was cared for. If this was another time in history or another country, perhaps he wouldn't be here today. Nothing in this world is free, because no one wants to work for free or should be forced to to.

Well, true; but he had the first hand care of God here. Who can ask for more? Yes, he might have had helicopters and the best doctors and surgeons in the world, and maybe come out of this without a scratch. And then he would have kept on being full of himself and doing things his way, ( as most of the rich do), had a great life, and then died and gone straight to hell. I think he got the best end of the bargain. This life is a fingersnap; he'll have all of eternity to run around Heaven with a perfect body.

@@johndoe1.196 I think you misunderstand me; I'm not trying to imply being poor makes you automatically virtuous. Being virtuous depends on your character. There are many poor people that will steal, and there are rich people who are benefactors. And actually, all people to an extent are full of themselves and do things their way. My point is, from a purely Christian standpoint. (as I am a Christian I can only speak from my own values, and what they were like before I was a Christian). Generally speaking, because there are always exceptions, the reason Christ talked about how difficult it was for the rich young ruler to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, even though he had kept all of the commandments is because his riches were the most important thing to him, and even with Jesus standing right in front of him, asking him to his face, he couldn't walk away from the riches. So, how much harder is it for the rest of us average people to be willing to put God first, ahead of riches. This man in the video is talking about how it is better to even lose your arm, than to keep it, and keep sinning and end up in hell. For many people I've met (and again, I can only go by those I've met, which granted isn't everyone) they were willing to do quite a lot of things that were either illegal or let's say shady, because they had become accustomed to the payout that came with it. Now, I'm not talking about selling drugs, pimping, etc. like he is; I'm talking even white collar crime. I quit a job when I found out that the company I had been promoted to Operations Manager of, was withholding 997k of clients' money (yes, embezzlement). My boss, couldn't see what was wrong with it. Her opinion was, you aren't personally stealing the money; you are just following orders. I said, What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. The upshot is, they were caught by the Feds within the year, and did time. It was in the Wall Street Journal. Poor people aren't more virtuous; but when you are rich, there is a bigger temptation to start to think you're special, the laws don't apply to you, and values tend to go sidewise as you make excuses for wrong behavior to hold onto your money. And even if you just inherit the money, and don't do anything wrong to get it, many people then feel they don't need God for anything. They think, I've got everything I need. I'm doing good on my own, what do I need God for. All points that he makes himself in this and other videos he's done.

I agree, as Jesus said, you cannot worship God and Mammon (money). I also quit a job that required me to unethically Bill a client. Not to the extent that you experience, but it was enough for me to not want to work there anymore. Indeed, what do we have if we lose our soul? God bless and take care.

Keep praying !! The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak , God gave me a second chance and I was gonna go about my normal life back to sin but God convicted my heart I did have people praying for me thought , there is power in the name of Jesus and in prayer
