Prison system in Brazil dont particularly target blacks, they just happens to be the majority of the ppl incarcerated because social problems, living in poverty, or the cultural praising of crime and etc. Anyone can stay in prison here for many years even if he is white IF HE DOESN'T HAVE money to pay a good lawyer or bail his ass out.
