God didn't die on the cross. The human body of the Lord Jesus Christ was the sacrifice for all our sins. Only His human body died, not His divine identity which is spiritual, the Son of God.

The Bible contains the written word of God. Furthermore, In the Beginning, the Word was with God, the Word was God. In the New testament "The Word became flesh." God doesn't do things they way many does them. The thing is, Man wants to make god in their image, but we are made in His image, not the other way around. A religion alone cannot prove or disprove god. Having a relationship with God should be the utmost, more than following the patterns laid out by a priest or a church. If you seek him, you will find him. It's truly that simple. And it takes time, God will work on your heart when you actively seek him and make himself known to you. If you reject him, why would he reveal himself?
