Жыл бұрынTailah Scroggins felt dead inside. After growing up in a Christian home, she somehow fell into the occult, embracing astrology, witchcraft, and the new age. But after embarking on a dark journey and losing the will to live, she had an incredible interaction with Jesus that changed everything.
Today, Scroggins is an online evangelist, writer, and truth-teller on a mission to help others escape evil. She recently shared her story with "Billy Hallowell's Playing With Fire Podcast," explaining how she was raised in a Christian home and believed in God before stumbling into the occult.
She said she was first introduced to the New Age in high school when someone she trusted in her family came over and told her about astrology. "They had this big ... textbook of everything astrology and they were like, 'This describes my personality so perfectly - look what it says about you,'" Scroggins said. "I was caught off-guard, and I remember ... I was like, 'But how can this be true? If God created all of us and he made our personalities, how can a planet dictate my future or dictate my personality?'"
She said this was the first "seed of deception" the devil planted in her life, and her perspective started to shift. With her family friend stating God created astrology as a system "He put in order," she started down what she now believes was a dangerous path. Agreed! If there is only oneness in Truth, no one can "age" out of service, if to will. As it doesn't come down to young or more mature, but rather being a willing and active conduit in the deliverance of others. Plus, we each have/ or come in contact with people that someone else may not... Deliverance, recovery and time for restoration, the clouds of confusion... is key though, as she spoke of. May each experience these in their own walk and journey. And then freely give (share, knowledge, insight, hope, grace,...), as they freely received. 🎁

Wow, I went through the same thing! soon as I turned twenty one I was just delvining into different things spiritually. Astrology was the gateway for me. I have a 40 year old niece with a PhD in psychology and two years ago told me she was now a Psychic Medium. I was speechless told her I was sad about that. Said a prayer for your family. It's so awful to hear this. My mom is an extremely smart lady. It's like she is so tough on her own she feels no need to surrender her life to Christ. No need for His direction in her life. I have asked the Lord about this. Bc I am not near as worldly smart as my mom. I grew up in special classes and let it effect how I felt the Lord felt about me. Turns out He made me this way for a reason. When I am weak He makes me strong in Him and through Him. interesting because its a double edged sword to say that we experience the supernatural. In one sense, Jesus was obviously a supernatural being - but we are made in gods image and we are also heirs to this power (limited , but we will in inherit marvelous gifts in the kingdom to come ) Very much like you - i was a little older and experienced lots of experiences - which i did not consciously embrace. I always blame my mother's involvement with new age and mediumship . Paradoxically , she turned her back on all that when she realized how dark it really was she gave me great advice to "close myself " to these realms and to cry out to jesus It came in handy quite a few times . In the name of Jesus i command you to leave Eventually , i didn't have any more trouble ....but yes , if you never experience this stuff ....you would think the person was imagining . Well....i tell you ...its one thing when a lone person experiences it - quite another when its supported by multiple people seeing/hearing /feeling the same phenomena. Had a routine of waking up at around 3am to urinate when i was about 6, one night I saw a dark entity in my passage that was darker then the black behind it. I froze in fear for about 3 seconds, but still proceeded to use the toilet (obviously looking behind me as i did), then immediately ran back to my room (ended up knocking my shin on the corner of the bed). till this day Im still righteously proud that i never backed down.

I have been a christian and intercessor for over 30 years. My niece who is in her 40s recently got involved in the occult because she miscarried and blames God. It grieves me that she has given up on the lord. She recently divorced and moved back into her parents home and they are christians. I know they are having a difficult time accepting her new beliefs and I know they have no peace in that home anymore. I can only pray that Jesus delivers her and breaks the curse put upon her. Because she is involved in the occult the rest of the family does not want to be around her. Its very sad and heart breaking. I have witnessed deliverances in church and I know Jesus can and will deliver people out of the devil's grip. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I pray for your ministry that the Lord use you mightily to deliver the captives.

Father, this young woman is hurting. She’s searching and in the process she’s found the enemy and his wiles. Please separate her from whatever has laid claim to her and cancel that attachment. Please set aside what she’s done outside of Your will and speak to her in the silence when it falls. Soften her heart toward You and bring peace as only You can give it. Speak to her. Show her how You love her. Please don’t let the enemy win in her life because of her pain. Please restore her and make her aware of her authority. I was raised the same way. Only I started searching for God but not in a controlled atmosphere. I had been raised in a Pentecostal church where you couldn’t do anything even wear pants, jewelry or short sleeves. I truly didn’t know if God loved me. My search was for a true and loving God. So I tried Jehovah Witnesses, then I tried Mormonism and now they try to claim they are Christians. Eventually I finally found the one true God and learned that Jesus loved me.

It’s true I went through the same thing I couldn’t talk or do anything I was so oppressed and or demonized due to engaging as much as I wanted to in ignorance in a sin habit and I was a believer and I got very messed up - and later on after being set free of this I went on a haunted bus tour of savannah ga the bus had a sulfur smell pumped through it by the tour people. Five years later what appeared like a small ball of sulfur woke me up out of sleep in the middle of the night I couldn’t see it and later on I experienced it again when it came out of me in the form of a burp while watching a deliverance minister online. This stuff is real people. Jesus Saves and do all you can to avoid occult, anything you know to be or suspect to be sin, any bad influences on you and secular entertainment - flee it - you will wish you had if you don’t do this now and make a practice of it, seek God first our lives are a test and a battle at the same time - choose God

You can’t serve two Gods at once. God will not be with you when you are doing that he can’t be around sin. So she wasn’t speaking the tongues of God but of the spirits that filled her. Please don’t tell people they can do both at once 😢

According to Solomon... when God gave him control over demons, he found out everything the demons were afraid of and which angel they didn't want to face and used that to control them. He also found out there are 3 demons to each zodiac sign and what their influences are on man. There are, in addition, over 3o demons listed for all the bad things that, to this day, the demons use for control over us

Some of the bibles most notable men such as David, after being known as a man after Gods own heart. Did unspeakable things, and afterwards prayed, "take not thy holy spirit from me". Just because the Holy spirit tabernacles with you, does not mean your bulletproof. The Holy spirit comes in while we were still enemies, and conforms us to His Image, day, by day. Do you not all read the scriptures, I can think of so very many examples from the scriptures it's not funny. May the original commentator consider removing their remark concerning this.

As a practicing Christian who attended Church I got into New Age through my Vet who was a practicing Christian as well! Energy healing, and essential oils! When I asked about the energy healing my Vet told me that God made the energy right! She never used the Name of Jesus or God during the healing! The worst thing is when I warn other Christians about the oils they attack me!

Is energy healing where you ground yourself by holding on to a tree? My husband was telling me about some video he saw & he said he's going to try that. I immediately said, " that sounds like new age stuff" but he was adamant about it being from a Christian video. I said, "well show me in God's WORD where grabbing a tree is scriptural." Also another video about sprinkling cinnamon around the house. I've been duped by stuff years ago like this but I'm way more guarded now. Just wondering because my hubby seems to think it's godly but I don't

@@cindylee1692 What I think your husband refers to is the electrical connection we have in our physical bodies with the current in the earth. That is for real and I believe is how God will "change" us in the twinkling of an eye. Not sure exactly how He will accomplish that all at once but electrical/gravitational physics might be a part of it. There is something called "grounding" which animals even are aware of and which is how they go about trying to heal. When an animal digs a wallow or a bowel shaped hollow in the dirt and then lays there for long periods of time that animal is grounding. The current of the earth joins the animal's own electrical current and swaps out particles kind of like what happens from space particles that go into the core of our earth when it gets by the earth's magnetic shield. Anyway, all this to say not to worry about hubby's ideas there. I believe this is God's way and we've gone so far into the realm of this disconnected-from-creation way we've come to live we've forgotten how it feels to put our bare hands into the living soil and bare feet into the sand at the beach, etc., and have forgotten how special it is to be connected to God's gifts. The artificial way we live now is not anything like God meant for us as was in the garden of Eden. There's so much more to life than what we live.

Essential oils are natural, herbal, flowers, plants that are not evil unless you use them for evil. The wise men brought frankincense oil to Jesus. Oils can be used to anoint, help heal

ABSOLUTELY explain WHY to your children. We so underestimate them. PLUS, these formative years are the BEST time to explain things to them. Be prayerful about it yes. Use wisdom in how you present the reasons why. At the same time do not underestimate their ability to comprehend and understand. If we don’t explain, we are leaving them vulnerable to the enemies deceptive version that they definitely will be presented. Explain the enemies deceptive version of truth as well so that when they are presented it they will be equipped with the wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding to defeat the enemy before deception can take root.
