Burnley, a founder member of the world's first football league, one of the famous twelve. Burnley is also the smallest town population-wise to ever be in the English Premier League, we're the classic underdog punching above our weight. Also, the soon-to-be-corenated King of England is a Burnley fan.

I have to say, as a Burnley fan, I think JJ's influence in the US can only be a good thing for Burnley. He seems down to earth, and not a big head, or over the top. UTC ! 💪

I am 55 years old was born and brought up and live in Burnley supported them all my life a great investment for JJ. I used to live and work in Cleveland in Ohio so am an avid Browns fan. Burnley are a similar kinda deal to what Cleveland are. Enjoy the ride Burnley are a great club and we have very passionate fan base we have a population of around 80,000 people of which 23,000 go watch and support the team we cant fit anymore in haha.

As someone who has coached youth football professionally, I can tell you that the main reason the US will never win a World Cup and why we don't have more great players is the fact that football is pay to play in the US. You have to come from an upper middle class or upper class family in order to have a chance at going pro. In Europe and a place like Burnley, players are recruited from rec teams and play for clubs for free. That os course is non-existent here in the US.

oooo burnley thats cool. the prem is the best league by far. Serie A declined as a league for years but has big teams still even Roma which is totally untapped potential , france ligue 1 is weak and untapped potential as well really needs another elite team , bundesliga requires bayern success when its not winning consistent champions leagues. mls is small but would have the best stadiums and a huge market if ever successful.

Awesome that all these celebs and athletes are investing in 4 and 5A soccer teams. I hope one day that this same energy can be invested in more WNBA teams.
