I have been lukewarm and I won’t even deny that, but I was into satanism as a teenager and grew up without any faith in our home (parents did at least have good morals thankfully). I started showing symptoms of BPD as a toddler (likely one of the people born with it rather than developed from neglect etc) and by my early 20s it got BAD. I just wanted to give a small amount of background, but just wanted to say that when I pray every day and TRY to build a relationship with our Father, my BPD symptoms VANISH. Entirely! Like an absolute miracle. The last year or two I have slipped away from my prayer and Bible studies, and my BPD came back probably worse than ever (to add to everything, I have had a lot of loss and drama in these years). So I just wanted to back your comment up with my own. Anyone who knows about BPD knows it is one of the most extreme behavioral disorders you can be diagnosed with, utter hell on earth but in your mind. The fact that prayer and constant communication with Yah took it away to me is unbelievable and astonishing as can be, and yet I have to believe it because I experienced it. Now, time for me to get my act together! Been watching a ton of testimony videos lately, He is calling me back I know it and I can’t thank Him enough ❤ God bless anyone who reads this and do take care

So true. I was New Age for DECADES & a few weeks ago I asked Jesus for forgiveness.. no church has any clue & they don't even say Jesus name. I said to Jesus, these people seem more lost and afraid than me so I'm just going to speak with you directly. Occasionally I'll call on a close religious friend & say when you pay can you ask Jesus for little extra more blessings my way. My religious friends know I don't like people praying for me because they don't have the proper intentions and most people can't even pray the right way anyway, so that's how they pray for me they ask the Lord to send me blessings and that's it. It's quite unfortunate that churches are living under Vatican rule worshiping on Sunday etc but I'd rather be alone in my room with Jesus and in a church full of ignorance and fear. 💕

There must be many military men who share your experience of feeling demonic power taking lives and then leaving the battlefield feeling empty and alone. I have followed my Lord since I was a toddler. I was sexually abused all of my life and I had no one to go to. Jesus comforted me. He was always with me. God has worked in many good ways in my life, but He has performed at least 5 miracles. When my little 5 year old lay dying in a hospital my heart was breaking. I sat beside his bed, my own mother was present. We began to pray. My prayers are always said as if Jesus is physically in my presence, so that night I spoke to Him as a mother who was pleading for the life of her child. I told Him what my little boy meant to me. How my husband was a cruel man and that my little boy was the mist precious thing in my life and if He took him, how alone I would be. I reminded Jesus of how many little children had no one to love them and how those children were abused. In other words, I was reminding Jesus of all the little children that were suffering and had no one. Factually, I was asking God not to take a child, my child who was greatly loved and that if He took my child I would be left with no one. My child was so loved and cared for there, but there were many who had nothing. I asked God to please not take me son when there were so many other children who had nothing. I asked Him to please choose a child who needed Him more than my son. After expressing how broken I would be if He took my son, I also told Him that if He really wanted my son, I would try to understand and that I would not be angry with Him. I told Him that if He took my son, He must really have a good reason for it and while losing him would break me, I would gladly give Him my son. Please Lord, I prayed. I am a mother pleading that you give my son a full recovery, but if you take him, I will not be mad at you. I prayed through most of the night until I fell asleep lying in the bed with him. I was awaked that morning by my little boy saying, “Mommy, I’m hungry.” I was overwhelmed, the doctor had said it would be days until we would see a change in my son. Yet, here he was asking for something to eat and saying he felt fine. I quickly called for the nurse. My son had no fever and appeared to be well. When the doctor came in he asked, “Well, what’s going in here? He couldn’t believe his eyes. My son had no fever and his body was functioning well! Then the doctor turned to me and asked, “What did you do? I can’t find anything wrong with him?” I replied to the doctor, “You are witnessing the power of God and how He answered a mother’s prayer.” My son was released the next day.

Amen! Fasting, Prayer and the Word are powerful weapons. I definitely encourage those who struggle with music/entertainment to shut everything down! Study and become a disciple (discipline). Praying in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues, the Acts experience is also a weapon and a comforter in my life. I literally cannot carry burdens when I get into the presence of God. It always falls off. I also encourage watching content on YT such as Deep Believer, Derek Prince Ministries, etc. Essentially, the Word of God is the ultimate weapon! Study it because your new life depends on it!

I got my girlfriend pregnant at 14, she got an abortion. I felt nothing, still feel nothing, my life has been better without that responsibility. This is a YOU thing. Not everybody feels guilt regarding abortion.

I had become a born again saved Christian in the early '80s but then because of legalistic churches like John is talking about, I felt I had backslidden and lost my salvation, and let God down and let my best friend down who had died and I had not told about Jesus!! .. I now know those legalistic lies and condemnation were totally untrue and made me feel terrible for years.!! I was acquaintances with a diagnosed narcissist man who is a supposed Christian, and he was convinced his wife is a narcissistic demon in control of a female human body. I don’t know why, but I didn’t really care or take it seriously, but now I’m like “what if it’s actually true…” I also was friends with a “Christian” (not sure if she’s truly christian, but she said she was) narcissist woman who was filled with jealously and manipulated and lied to me a ton. I recall her one time telling me a demon went inside her and then she had an exorcist. I can’t even know if it’s true since she lied about everything for zero reason, so it could have been a made up story. Anyway, these are the only two narcissists I think I’ve known, and looking back, I think you’re right. It’s very scary once I really think about it, but I know that God is with me so nothing can truly harm me.

Just because someone says their a Christian, doesn't mean they really are. Anyone can say anything. Jesus says to look at a person's fuit; how they live, how they talk. A true Christian (one that is saved) isn't going to be in a metal band. People who are saved, have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, and it changes you. You don't become perfect, but certain things, you wouldn't do, not with the holy spirit in you. Way too many people say they are Christians and all you have to do it look at what they say and their lifestyle to know the truth. That's the devil confusing you into fake Christianity.

Have to remember that the music industry has always targeted younger people (teens, early 20's) because 1.They are usually not economically conscious in terms of HOW they spend their money 2. Songs tend to enhance those early unforgettable moments/memories in your life , so people buy the product to keep remembering them - also, you're way more "emotional" at a younger age, so much of your experiences are quite intoxicated w/emotions because you don't have the time to look back and see that things aren't really how they "feel" all the time. I'm mostly speaking from my own experience. Once Rap & Hip Hop gained in popularity , music corps. knew it was far easier to market , and much less costly - less time in a studio, less prep work for any "musicians" , sampling basically steals a previous recording's elements, you can bolster up and spit out far more "artists" in less time , and then cast them away w/new ones to replace when the trends shift. As people get older they have more financial responsibilities and less time to spend listening, doing "whatever" . It's all marketing and research. It's a shell game and the big corps. NEVER lose. Former popular bands will tell you the game is not worth it like it used to be because they don't get paid like they did on the "product" (i.e. records) and THAT has a lot to do with the invention of the MP3 - too hard to control the sharing of music. Bands only make money touring now , or w/ merchandise.
