A DELAY IS NOT A DENIAL!!! I failed my first RN NCLEX. You made it through the hardest part… Nursing School. Take your time to rest, regroup and retry. Your comment about asking why do we have to always take a little longer, it’s because this is your unique journey. When I failed I focused on Mark K lectures, printed out the notes and literally reviewed it in sections like a class itself. Then I did U-World questions each day for review. If I can find my printouts I can definitely email them to you. You got this!!!! Create a study plan. And take your time through this process. This too shall pass. ❤️❤️❤️ Stay encouraged, you’d be surprised of your fellow nurse’s journey. This will your testimony to continue to inspire others. Constantly learning and growing in this field.

The silver lining here is that you now know what the test is like, and what to expect on it. Small comfort, I’m sure, but let this guide your preparation for next time. You will go in so well prepared and you’ll nail it! Many nurses don’t pass the first time, but it doesn’t define their nursing practice. I’m confident you can move through this with grace and come out the other side as an RN!

Babe we are in the same boat! I got the full 145 questions my first attempt and felt like there was nothing more I could possibly do to study. I passed the second attempt in 85 questions ❤️ Where God guides he provides!! You can do all things!

I failed my first time using uworld!! Came back harder and read the entire Saunders book from front to back answering every question. Took it again and passed

Speaking from someone who failed multiple semesters in nursing school, I completely understand your feelings of “why can’t I get through something the first time around.” I have been a RN for five years now. Do not lose faith, do not give up hope. You will be a beautiful nurse and I promise you will appreciate your license and be so much more hardworking and caring of a nurse because of it. You know what? Failure is part of our journey! I’ve failed my final exam too, not the NClex but something so important that I’m now not allowed to study this subject anymore. It hurts a lot but I know that god had something better for me in store and that’s why I’m going to start nursing school in October. YOU girl, you are a hero. Don’t let one slip define who you are. Don’t give up!! I didn’t do any of the mark k lectures, focus on questions and the rationales! What worked best for me was doing 20 questions at a time and doing around 150-200 questions a day for two weeks. Also, I used archer for their unlimited readiness assessments and CAT exams and I feel like they’re questions were more like the nclex vs uworld. I also got 145 questions, you got this!

You got this. I was the same was I took it got up to 145q. Walked out feeling horrible and two days later I found out I failed. To study I used mark k and uworld. I felt in my opinion it wasn’t a good representation. So I took a week break from studying, can came across archer review. I can say it was the best representation of the NCLEX. Along with that I would listen to a comprehensive NCLEX review on YT. The second time I took the NCLEX I passed on 94q. Just remember you got this and you know your stuff. You took it once so now you know what to expect and can now plan to conquer it ❤️

Oh no. I’m so sorry to hear that. Keep going and redo your uworld questions. Nothing from mark was on there but I saw Uworld questions. I did the same thing you did by looking over stuff the day of the test. Best advice is to focus on your weak subject in Uworld and go over the questions you had wrong. Do not try to memorize the questions. Your not a failure. You will pass on your next try 🤞🏽🙏🏽

I failed my Hesi 2 times, had to take for the third time in April and finally passed. It’s okay and I know saying “it’s okay” seem so cliché but it’s going to okay your doing great job. I have watched so many of your videos while I was in nursing school because you made me feel like I wasn’t alone and gave tips on staying positive even when it got hard and I thought I wasn’t going to make. I know many very smart and wonderful nurses who did not pass their first time and gave everything to the test and come out on top with their remake, even when it took more than twice. NCLEX gives you a license but does not mean you are not intelligent or not going to be a wonderful and compassionate nurse. It does not define how amazing of a nurse you will be. Take a break and try again because you will succeed at your goal and come out on top! You got this! You conquered the hard part and that’s getting Through nursing school. This is building your testimony. This will help so many people. You are an inspiration. The Nclex is not really a focused exam like school it’s very Broad. The main focus of Nclex is to see if you are a safe nurse. Have these questions in your mind LIKE who can die first if I don’t do some. Who can wait. Is the person stable for me to leave them. For me most of my questions were prioritization. I would advise you to start with those types of questions first because that’s what they are mainly looking for. Learning and knowing medication you can learn that on a job, lab values you can learn that on a job so they will not give too many questions on that kind of stuff. They want to know if any emergency happen what would you do? You got this. I’m praying for you. Stay focused.

I know the feeling, We will be ok! Keep your head up and keep studying but take time and give yourself a few days to rest. I’ve started studying for only a couple hours and no more then 75 practice questions everyday on tutor mode.

I may have an unpopular opinion, but when I took my NCLEX 3 years ago, I told no one but my parents and my aunt (who's also a nurse). I told them not to tell anyone bc the people you think would be happy for you aren't, and they'll pray on your downfall. Take this time to rest and regroup and pray. Don't focus on stopping at 75 questions. I had all 265, and passed the first try. Try Sylvia Rayfield review. It's 3 days long and it's a lot of mnemonics that help you memorize key points.

I saw you on tiktok and this came up as a suggestion, i failed mine too yesterday. Honestly it was heartbreaking. I feel like going back to zero. I black out. I know whats the question asking but all of I study just flush out of my head. Im planning to study again. We got this!! I know we can do it!! People always said dont be sad. But they dont know what we feel until they experience it. I will cry and cry and then the next day. Get back up and study again. I wont focus on passing. Keep going you got this !! I’m not a nurse but I’m a therapist. I failed my National exam horribly my first time around & I was soo scared to go for it again. The second time around I didn’t tell anyone when I was taking my exam , I dedicated weekends at the library & restructured the way I studied. Passing on the first try is always the goal, but it’s something about not giving up after you have failed that makes It just a little bit more rewarding. Don’t worry keep trying and take it again. I suggest that you focus more on Uworld and practice as many questions as possible, also practice priority and delegation. NCLEX is hard and remember it is a safety exam so remember that while you are taking the exam. Take a break then get right back to it. You got this💕💪
