I find it desperately funny how Lucifer's corruption of Azazel completely backfired.

Just realized something. Loremaster said that Lucy attempts to assassinate her twice a week. The character sheets for Demon-Taker says that he's kept under control with an uncontrollable weakness for apple pie. Who ate all the apple pie during the final level, after Demon-Taker was declaring his intention to murder Loremaster? If it wasn't for Justice showing up last-second with more pie, that could have been a successful assassination attempt.

I love the fact that 667's obedient as long as he gets apple pies means that Lucy stuffing her face when he showed up was actually an assassination attempt.

Funny how after all this time Azazel still denies being a Fallen Angel

Fun fact: the official comics heavily foreshadowed this. (Spoilers) basically Azazel noticed her hair turning gray and she starts worrying about if she caught an illness. The other demons let her know that she's probably started falling like Lucy and judgement. Azazel says that fallen angels are just a myth and shrugs it off. She then starts growing horns and packs her bags saying that she needs to get this sickness looked at. Lucifer then tells her that growing horns and a tail would make aid her into blending into demon society so she can study them. Azazel, being naive believed her and fell So basically this is all Lucifer's fault

It's a bit karmic since in in the comics, both Justice and Lucy encouraged Azazel to become a demon.

[SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO] as soon as Loremaster said she was an angel, I immediately thought she was Azazel. with her name being Loremaster and then her describing what she did, I was even more convinced. thank for adding the concept art in the end that basically confirms that! it's cool to see how she's changed.

From what I understand Van is planning 2 plots, one with the Abysstaker ending and one with the normal ending. This is the Result of the Abysstaker ending. Maybe some other Sequel or DLC will have a different setup and plot entirely and star Taker. TLDR: we’re playing with alternate universes kids, strap yourselves in.

The last official comic i read had Lucifer convince Azazel to go deeper into demonhood, with the excuse she could learn more about sin if she "pretends" to be a demon. Guess she shot herself in the foot. Also makes it canon Helltaker gone into Beel's realm

So I assume this takes place in the Abysstaker ending since HT wasn't seen in the Comics where Azazel/Loremaster got slowly corrupted Also Lucy wonders at the end of the DLC what happened with him, implying they didn't stay with him till he died.

My favorite character is now plot relevant!! I loved azazel in the original game and now she’s back with a wardrobe change. I love lab coats and the mad scientist archetype. I’m excited for the sequel!

I like the sarcasm and revenge Lucy holds and how she tries to assassinate her boss i respect that a lot by the way the boss level was epic and lol the way you said give me the apple pie.

The game is so obscenely simple, and yet you can't stop wanting to make fanarts and fanfics of it. This is how you know you got a crazy good work of art.

The music is funky as always. Coupled with a good voice like yours, and the video turns into a 10/10

Doom Eternal DLC: The leader of hell was actually the original creator god of the universe before being overthrown. Helltaker DLC: The new leader of hell was originally an angel of god who basically took over Lucifer’s position. Guess Satan’s backstory is getting pretty popular again.

So it makes me wonder, considering lucy doesnt say helltaker is dead but rather what he's up to, what ended up becoming of him and even if he'd still be an ally to lucy, considering Beelzebub's beef with her and Justice.
