Thank you for pointing this out. I do this in theatre when other people are rehearsing and I thought I was crazy but its so subconcious. Cool to see someone else doing it haha

Lou Wilson is fully aware of the shenanigans that Brennan is capable of, the 1st part is a perfect example of it. Everyone else reacted with such a shocked expression when Brennan said your mouth is full of blood. Lou just put his hands up

God I hope they can animate this as like a movie or something someday. Genuinely some of the most compelling storytelling to come out of critical role and they did it all in just 4 episodes.

This has already been mentioned but the phrase "All of the light, all of the fire is but a shadow in the face of the Dawn" is such an amazing storytelling point

I really like these types of highlights cause it gives a better understanding of the episodes without it feeling like ur missing a huge chunk of the plot. Great job. And really love the small cast reaction window. ^^ keep it up

I love how the comment section is just appreciation of the edit instead of how it usually is (about what happens in the episodes). Truly deserved though: I was worried about the length but it’s probably the best edit of a dnd show I’ve ever seen. Great job!! Hope you’ll do episodes 3 and 4 ♥️

The way Brennan uses The Betrayers to manipulate Zerxus and by proxy Laerynn and the others with their love of Evandirin is masterclass as a storyteller. And how this drives a wedge between the group and we see how everyone dives deeper into this conspiracy. Good Lord on high it makes me want two sequel games in the calamity era with these guys. One based on the last days of Aeor and how they fell into the astral sea and became what they did, or the fall of another sky city. And of course of a game set in the war itself. Seeing the true battles between the gods. That would be epic as all get out

I think one of my favorite things Aabria does is she reacts to the DMs description in a way that her character would feel about what the DM was saying. It brings me so much into the world when the PC is always reacting to the info present.

slightly heavy spoilers for the last (2?) episodes The early scenes with Tempus hit even harder knowing that some part of Evandrin was in Tempus the entire time after he got stuck in the Astral Plane

vox machina visited purvan's tomb in campaign one while searching for vestiges (he had the deathwalker's ward). it's the episode where vex dies and vax pledges himself to the raven queen to get her back.
