I was in France beach detecting and met a french bloke using the same machine as me, Minelab sov Elite, he had his dis on 5 plus notch at 7-8 he showed me his finds, no pull tabs, bottle top, I had loads. I went back set my machine to what the french bloke had and it would not pick up the two gold ring I had found the day before, I will put up with the pull tabs to get the gold

What's the point of a 1500 dollar detector when you still get pull tabs, just buy a Garrett sea hunter and save over a thousand dollars. There's a reason why even 40yr old machines still work, because you can't discriminate tabs.

Hi guys,,I lost a fuckin Howard of tenth century coins as the the sov GT saw iron exactly the same as fuckin 10 th century coins ,,it's the worst machine,,in which I had three,,that was any fuckin good at all,,never found anything at the beach deeper than 4 inches with those shit machines,,,a few months later,usin the whites mxt pro with a detect coil ,,I found everything possible that could be found ,,the sovereign is a piece of total shit,,,would be disappointed if I found a skip load of these fuckas ,,,
