I’m curious to see how closely at the upper and lower arrows are regulated into what distance? Reminds me of my old savage 24F over under that isn’t even closely regulated between the rifle and shotgun barrels. I also see how far the triggers are apart. It’s gotta be awkward to move your hand on the grip to get a trigger feel when adjusting from the front to the rear trigger.

Very nice video .I did not catch how much it weight. I got my father's Excalibur viken bow and needs new hooks on crank went to duhms sports store and I had 10 people wanting to know if I'm trading in or selling .it's like brand new but very heavy .

Nice crossbow indeed. I wonder if I could use 20" bolts from my Excalibur Equinox from 2010, at that time I purchased over 100 bolts, they are all excalibur OEM bolts but 20" long, now if I could use these bolts in the Twinstrike that would be a green light for me to purchase the twinstrike. Great video btw, liked n subscribed.

Why does it matter on the order you crank the strings back? Is each pair of limbs the 358 lbs? Or is it the combination. Dumb question do these bows get unstrung during off-season. I am liking mine so far!
@gs6373 жыл бұрын
The apparent draw weight of the Twin (360 lbs.) is much higher then on the Excalibur 355 Micro (280lbs)' for the same approx. 360ft/s bolt speed. Do you think the new limbs design will be happy with this?
@santosknives62783 жыл бұрын
can this be cocked without the crank or is it too heavy for that?

Thanks for the honest and accurate information about this crossbow. I I'm a fan of Excalibur, I bought a old wide Vortex back in 2012 and still use it to this day. I am interested in this new one. Can it be decocked like my Vortex? It doesn't have a anti-dry fire.
@WyvernsCreations3 жыл бұрын
un-cocks like the rest of their line. there is a part they include to disengage the dryfire

1st I’m ignorant about crossbows. The a-lore seems to be that a total novice can pick this up and have a certain level of accuracy (for a price). [ I like and subscribe to learn more]

Hello. Your video is the best on the TwinStrike on KZfaq. It is spot on. Excalibur's site show that there is a new "TwinStrike TAC2" released for this year (2022). There appears to be minor differences, between the TwinStrike and TwinStike TAC2. The weight of the units, overall length, and speed just to name a few. Do you know why the TAC2 is $622.22 cheaper? Is there that much of a difference between the excalibur TwinStrike and TwinStrike TAC2 to justify the cost difference? Looking forward to your answer.
@WyvernsCreations2 жыл бұрын
The TAC2 is slower so it's less expensive to build. It also comes with the TACT-100 scope instead of the newer Overwatch scope. And since it's black and not camo it's easier to finish and Excalibur doesn't have to pay licensing fees for the camo.

i don't care if a crossbow will wipe my ass, no bow, cross or vertical, is worth anywhere near $2000. i don't think any are worth $1000. they've gotten ridiculous in price. BUT, people seem more than willing to pay it.
@easternzone78693 жыл бұрын
TenPoint went all out crazy with the cost of their new release. You can get a new Scoped Barrett 50BMG M99 for the same price.... unreal
@ironDsteele3 жыл бұрын
PRS shooters can spend tens of thousands on their rig. Match class rimfire shooters can spend tens of thousands on their rig. Precision and innovation isn't free; and it certainly isn't cheap. Do you think it's ridiculous for someone to spend $8,000 on a .22lr? Maybe they don't. Just because something falls outside the parameters of what you consider typical doesn't mean it shouldn't be on the market.
@donaldfowler71172 жыл бұрын
Low demand for the most highly engineered bows, coupled with costly materials & innovation, and quality match grade accessories all play a part of final cost.this bow is affordable when compared to the ravin r500e or ten point nitro 505, those cost double and weigh more. I have used all 3 and they’re all amazing bows. You want to own top tier gear, be prepared to pay top tier pricing…just sayin’. But there’s a ton of economy bows coming out of china that are cheap and even the good American xbow manufacturers make low and middle models too. To each their own, right? I mean, I’m not going to stop driving my hellcat or vette, just because someone who has never even driven one thinks it’s overpriced……or unnecessary.
