Pebuatan itu sangat bagus jika pinggirnya diberi slop yang sudah dicetak dengan pasir semen, jadi material tidak lari dibawa arus air dan tifak hanis digeris srus.

Even the weight of the machines is sinking the sand base. First a stone base that sits on the bottom of the sea and then the sand a few meters protruding from the water level

I suppose sand is cheap seeing that it washes away so easily. Need some shot rock or boulders to deal with that strong current. Maybexa new housing estate lol

Looks like one of those jobs for life. They had the right idea on that island, - build out with rocks first, - trouble was they looked as if they had run out of rock.

Without rock ballast to control the current, that whole structure will get washed out. Complete waste of time and money.

It looks like they are trying to get it to flow out of a new channel next to the excavator. If they open that channel and get suitable tides, they should be able to close the existing exit.
