These concrete buildings are strong and you need to crush the concrete anyways, so doing it rough and fast would just increase the risk of an accident. In contrast to that, most demolition in the US can be done with shovel/thumb tool, and only big demolition companies use concrete and steel shears. In Germany, most excavators are equipped with an Oilquick coupler, to change attachments within seconds. Most US demolition videos I‘ve seen involve improvising/not using the right tool, and many excavators haven’t got a quick coupler at all. You do it your way and we do it our way, it‘s as easy as that. The american way is not always the best (most of the time it isn‘t lmao)

i guess they want to sort the metal from the concrete. yes you could do it after crashing the building down,, but then you risk all the metal pieces are twisted bent and maybe just in small pieces. making it harder to sort out + making it harder to put in containers for transport.

You can‘t just smash a building in the middle of the city. There are adjacent buildings and the concrete needs to be crushed anyways. All materials have to be separated and recycled. That‘s what we call controlled dismantling, just knocking down buildings and dumping the to the landfill isn‘t done in Europe singe the 80s. American companies use primitive equipment, so they can only do it quick n‘dirty, using too small or wrong machinery with a risk of accident.

Das geht an alle die Stümper und neuen Baggerführer schreiben. Zeigt mir ein Unternehmen das vorher die Fenster per Hand raus nimmt. Zeit ist Geld. Ich beobachte seit 15 Jahren Abbruchbaustellen und habe dieses mit den Fenstern noch nie gesehen. Zum Baggerführer : Komm setz dich in den Bagger und führe seine Tätigkeit so wie er es macht aus. Vor dem Bildschirm sieht alles ganz leicht aus.

Es gibt Kameras als Zubehör, viele haben auch eine drin.

Was man aus der Perspektive nicht so gut sehen kann, der Bagger steht in einem echt schlechten Winkel zum Gebäude.
