In this Microsoft Excel video tutorial I explain how to use calculated fields in a PivotTable. More specifically I demonstrate how to perform calculations on two or more columns. This is fairly straightforward if you're adding or subtracting, but not so simple if you are multiplying or dividing. To multiply or divide two or more columns you will need to create a measure which is like a calculated field. Measures are available when you use the data model. The data model gives you access to a raft of DAX functions such as SUMX and AVERAGEX which perform calculations at the row level.
