{Exceptional} Go-Ahead London Volvo B9TL ZF ft. Kickdown & High Speeds on Rail Replacement

Күн бұрынOh how glad I am to have caught this action from a B9TL on camera!... Just the second bus on the channel from Bexleyheath Bus Garage comes WVL414, part of a batch to have recently been remapped with a good TopoDyn setup! However there is no TopoDyn here 😉 This motor here shifts between 1900 and 2000RPM regardless of gradient, non-hesitant to downshifting and absolutely shoots off the line... leaving no crumbs between 1st & 4th Gear! Not just that but any hill it faced it would scale very easily, occasionally holding it's gear until it felt not to! Various sections in the video do feature some thrilling speeds on the A-Roads. Enough talking... I'd just like to give @KickdownLondon his flowers for his performances each and every time, as well as giving me the opportunity to experience this One of a Kind action from an EcoLife in a double decker, let alone a ZF B9TL!

B A D A S S Been a while since I popped onto these vids, but like always, stellar. Singlehandedly, your vids made me appreciate and love some buses again, especially B9TLs, they and Enviro 400s started feeling stale some years back, but that's prolly due to certain drivers at the time or so I guess. Nonetheless, benger vid, banger bus, you and these drivers jus never miss 😍 Odd request if possible, but do you think you'd be able to do a thrash/kickdown of a Daimler HEV Streetdeck, and a B5LT? I don't really mind whichever bus it is, but I've been dying to hear those buses in question get the deserved high quality love of a good thrash, also considering that out of all buses, Wrightbus is honestly my most favourite bus model so far (Mostly all the double decker range excluding the new routemasters), thus there's barely any thrashes of these buses at all, since they're like, rare as hell :v Nonetheless bro, looking forward to more of your stuff too, amd defo gonna give KickdownLondon a check too 😛

Nice video man! Ik it aint relevant but I managed to catch BX56 VSL on a C10. The kickdown was phenomenal. If u want to catch a citaro from Cranfield depot I suggest it on a C10 on a weekday. Other than that Nice video!

B9TL's up here in South Yorkshire change gear at such low rpm that they're don't know what to do up hills. If i had the money myself i'd pay the fitters lots of money to de restrict them.

BX have been remapping a few of these recently, you sure this is kickdown? I think its topodyn set in power mode and they've fiddled with the computers power mode settings abit

This bus has a topodyn setup but the driver isn’t using it. He has a trick to make them rev like this which he also did on WVL333. To any normal driver these are bog standard B9TLs but this one knows what he’s doing
