Project Castaway recently had an Exciting New Update. Here's what's new with this early access game on Steam.
Project Castaway is a survival crafting title set in the Pacific Ocean. Live the life of a stranded castaway, with only yourself - and the island's inhabitants - for company! Sail the ocean, hunt, explore unique islands and gather resources as you fight for survival.
This survival crafting game is still in Early Access and is expected to be released in June 2024. You can test the Beta now though! There's a link down below.

hornets..venomous things and creatures without legs are my biggest weakness..especially leeches and centipedes..they keep me paranoid..

I don't like those things either. I've never encountered a leech before, but I can confirm I do not like them, haha. I'm excited to see what other creatures the game is going to have. hopefully not centipedes, haha.

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to play more Project Castaway in the future. Was there anything that really stood out to you or that you'd like to see more of? That way I know to include it in the next time I stream it :)

If they made the wolf spider realistic, it wouldn't be too much of a problem. But a wolf spider isn't going to chase a human. and they are easily squished. The problem I see with this game is that it takes you out of roleplaying surviving by constantly inventing things you NEED to do to survive. The spider is a prime example of this.

I can see it not being for everyone. I get a little thrown off by the spiders too. The black widows also wouldn't chase a person. I grew up in the desert and ran into them all the time irl. Things like flying sharks aren't super-realistic either, but I look past it because it's still in early access. I like to give them the benefit of the doubt. I, personally, appreciate that the devs listen to the feedback and make adjustments accordingly. I bet they're already thinking of ways to improve the spider situation. What survival games are some of your favorites or which do you prefer to play?

@@MrMeekoGames I usually don't play survival games. I have a couple. Subnautica is one. Banished is another. Never completed either of them. There are other games I have with a survival mode, but I never play in that mode. Still, Project Castaway caught my eye because as a kid, I read a kid's version of Robinson Crusoe. So this game is kinda like that.

why is everything unlocked for you i can only craft a stone axe and hammer doesn't matter how high my crafting skill is it never unlocks

I'm not sure why that's happening for you. What version are you running? They're up to 0.0.33 now.
