collagen is great but you know what's better than Collagen supplements, like 10x better! essential amino acids supplement ;) collagen power is basically a protein, but essential amino acids has 8 of the essential amino acids in the right ratios that will make sure our bodies make protein (our bodies can then make the rest with that 8). as we have to have all 8 to make any protein in the body, even a protein like collagen that mostly contains only 4 of these amino acids in any collagen supplement, but we need the 8. Essential amino acids will provide that! That will maximise collagen production for your whole life! some of the other benefits... helps break down food, repairs tissue (great if you workout), healthy skin and hair, boost your immune system, sustains normal digestive system.. downside though it taste rancid! i have it with electrolyte drink or 100% juice and it helps! i had the same problem as you, i also take kefir everyday and try to eat foods high in fibre. I'm so much better now! ;)
