I’m guessing there will be a horsepower enriched sea level motor option in the future for the trail/crossover sleds. I’d guess 185-200hp With this much motor investment they will need to spread it over a larger demographic than just high altitude to pay for the tech. -AJ

Awesome sled and the engineering is impressive. One thing that makes me scratch my head is that they would relieve the crankshaft on a turbo, you would think you would want a beefier crankshaft. That might be an issue down the road, all to save weight.

Well that's nice .. How long will it take the aftermarket to tune it for an extra 40 HP ? The biggest advantage is that it is still light ..

I threw up a little bit in my mouth when I heard the price .... might be worth it if I loved someone with more than a month of winter .... god southern Ontario sucks.

Like I get it's a milestone a factory 2 stroke turbo sled but nearly 20 grand US is a ton of money to spend on a sled that will only see performance benefits at extreme elevation. I'd much rather stick to an alpha or RMK for roughly 13,000

what about the the power curve? the turbo should bump the midrange way up! i think most would be happy with 165 if the midrange is twice as strong.

A lot of space to work in the cab like other Skidoo. Are you able to swap plugs on it without remove exhaust pipe and clutches hahahaha

I recently got a 2020 ski doo renegade I let it warm up and all made it about 100 meters down the road and the digital screen just shut I can’t find out what’s wrong any suggestions?

Are the 800 revs still blowing up? I’ve heard the 600 is way better and last longer.

Do clutch weights still need to be changed depending on elevation?

pretty neat im not a two smoke guy but this is neat. hope they do something with power it seems if they were targeting making the same power at all altitudes they would've made it at least 180hp. throttle response on the turbo sled? think they could've made the 4tec better in that department. this sled will kill that platform. the cat/Yamaha sleds already make more power and reliably. eh

Can someone explain me who would be interested in this. as a Arctic cat fan and if arctic cat would came out with a stuck turbo sled I wouldn’t even consider to buy it. I would get the Speedwerx kit installed instead 225 horsepower instead. I don’t really know lots about skidoo I’m not really a mountain rider thought I never drove a snowmobile over 2000 feet of elevation. Like they don’t have after market kits for theses machine. Don’t get me wrong it awesome, but don’t really see the point

That’s OK for those mountain guys. But what about us guys that are flatland riders. Not going to help us very much for more horsepower. I’m in northern Manitoba Canada we get a crap ton of snow. More horsepower would be great up here. Not sure this machine would do us any good. My buddy has an 850 and honestly doesn’t impress me very much. My old Yamaha 120 hp takes it up till about 85 miles an hour. We’re both really aggressive riders too. And my 1100 turbo cat there’s no comparison. That thing walks all over his 850. They need this thing to produce 40 more horsepower no matter where they are. This thing needs to be pumping out close to 200 hp out of the box at sea level then it be impressive. But be awesome for the mountains.

At 20k...it ...is pricey.

I really like the what they did with the air vents something Polaris should think about too. But honestly kind of ugly and not worth it.

Exhaust valve 🤣 U mean wastegate 🤦‍♂️ So they are just bleeding the boost off at normal rpm/trail riding, probably comes in after 50% throttle. That's how they making it run on pump gas at low elevation with no added power. I'd wait, I see this being a big problem for some guys

With the amount of money this sled is worth, it would be cheaper to go out and buy a expert package with a silber turbo and make 200 hp with 7psi at the top instead of running the stock turbo on a wopping 4psi wow
