I actually live a mile away from the shop. These Chinese were like any other Chinese shop owners, humble and easy-going. My community isn't known for any serious crimes such as murder. So when this happened, we were absolutely shocked and upset. I hope justice will be served for the Chinese, and I'm glad that this story is getting a lot of traction so that these heartless men are found. Not defending the person who took the liquor, but I think we should hear his side of the story as to why he did what he did before we judge. Maybe the report about that isn't exactly true. Maybe he purchased the liquor momentarily before the incident and then he couldn't leave because of what transpired. On the other hand, he's a minor so he shouldn't even be having liquor either.

The government of Jamaica doesn’t care enough to bring forth meaningful changes. There are people in this country and abroad who are willing to volunteer their skills to make a difference.
