Frank Shamrock was the second all around vale tudo leading to MMA sports combatant, but the biggest thing he did that nobody else did? I agree. Idk why they’re releasing episodes so long after they’re recorded. It’s not too bad for podcasts like this where they’re primarily talking about the fighter’s life and history. But it’s really annoying when they talk about breaking news and upcoming fights that have already happened by the time the episode is released. They do very little editing for each episode, so there’s no reason why they can’t just release the episodes shortly after they’re recorded.

Frank was p4p the best fighter on the planet during his middleweight reign and a huge pioneer/influencer too. The pettiness that Dana has for keeping him out of the HOF makes me feel like it's a popularity contest less a legitimacy contest. If that's the case, it devalues the hof as a whole. I loved Frank Shamrock the fighter . He was my first favorite fighter. That said, his personal story and the way he tells it seems so contrived.

Frank is a legit pioneer for mma. Growing up in San Jose we didn't have a lot of pro athletes to look up to, but we always had Frank.

Great interview! Salute to Frank Shamrock! I'm noticing a trend as to why some of the MMA/UFC legends are not recognized or heralded in UFC (the multi-billion dollar company) ... The common denominator is Dana White. Side Note: Bear & Rampage had to stay professional because Frank seems like he's not into "trendy" behavior. There were a couple of moments i was like "Aaayyyyoooo Bear & Rampage yall going to let that slide!?" 😂😂😂
Wait for the last one! 👀
