@@bwanadave76 if you truly think Hamas started this war you have no knowledge of history whatsoever. Do you have any idea how many times Israël did military operations in Gaza? Israël oppressed Gaza systematically, people live in an open air prison and are poor and have often no food, there is hardly any employment. Hamas isn't allowed to arm themselves officially, it's a militia not really an army. They basically can't attack the IDF, so they attack civilians which is disgusting but it has to do with the fact they haven't any military power and don't stand a chance against the IDF, so attacking civilians is there way of claiming some power. Hamas is a terrorist organisation and there end goal of erasing Israël of the face of the earth isn't realistic. I understand why they radicalised, because they feel there land was stolen, and that's actually what happened. But to try to erase Israël is offcourse not a solution. 1948 happened and they have to embrace it and find a solution for both parties involved. Abbas in the Westbank is much more realistic, but unfortunately, because he is more reasonable, Israël keeps colonising the Westbank and taking advantage of it. So yeah it's like you can't solve anything with Israël, it's quite clear they actually want to drive the Palestinians out, that's why I believe there will never be a two state solution as long as the VS keeps backing Israël in every crime they commit. Because if Palestine becomes sovereign, they can't steal land anymore. Sure 7th october was a barbaric terrorist act against civilians, but you have to look at the context why it was done otherwise this conflict will never be solved and it will happen again from both sides.

I doubt any serious political leader takes a blind bit of notice of this silly organisation. It's all for show.

They need to be able to subpoena and arrest individuals. They should be able to offer bounties on wanted suspects. I'd pay to see it.
