You see, he hadn't visited Ghana since he was 3 years old. So obviously he didn't feel fully Ghanaian when first he granted interview about playing for Ghana. Since he's come home and seen and interacted with his people, he has felt the connection of being a full blooded Ghanaian. That's when he genuinely feels like he has to play for his original homeland, his natural people. Our journalists must understand and appreciate this sociology of things and stop stoking unnecessary fire and animosity. Deeply touch listening to him, I love him more now, I can understand what he was trying to achieve by trying to play for Spain considering the challenges black people face in Spain and other parts of the world. @@emmanuelkoomson2462 yes, Inaki should start , no doubt. Nketiah, Hudson Odoi and Tariq Lamptey should all start as well. Tell me in their position, who's better than them in our Ghana squard ? my front three should be Nketiah (left Winger) Odoi (right winger) and Inaki our number 9. This is a 4-3-3 formation but if Ghana play 4-2-2 then our front two should be Inaki and Nketiah as our two strikers !

I don't like the questions regarding how much of a Ghanaian he feels and the mention of him saying in the past that he did not feel Ghanaian. Of course he is right to say so. There are so many aspects of such a complex choice, and it must be very difficult for the players. Also, a lot of people will question them, no matter their choice. It was the Nigerians who were disappointing that is why we qualified. We may not be next time lucky. And remember there's life after the World Cup.

This man has been playing professional football I believe for close to 10yrs. We qualify for WC and all of a sudden he wants to play for the black stars. We haven’t learnt the lessons from KPB in 2010; as a country we can’t sell our souls. We have to give our local boys a chance.
