God. Ville is so gorgeous I was just looking at his beautiful face the entire time he's so beautiful ughhh.

This is so sad. I've been listening to HIM for as long as I can remember, yet I never got a chance to see them live. This feels like I'm losing an old friend or something.

Am i the only here who not only grew up listening to HIM. But also decided to learn Finnish as a second language?!?? Its the best language ever. Js

I love the Finnish language but listening to him speak it is out of this world beautiful.

i'm so heartbroken that i never got the chance to see them live. I was only 9 when I heard "Wicked Game" from them on the TV, and now at 27 I still love them to death. I can't even put to words how much their music helped me throughout the years and at hard times made life a bit more worth living. Ville's voice was always so soothing and I think he has one of the most unique voices out there. I could listen to him all day and night. I hope he makes an album.

Thank you for the translation; this interview really touched me. I grew up with HIM, so I still can't believe the news about their disbanding is real. Ville's lyrics, together with Edgar Allan Poe's poetry kept me balanced and pulled me through some really difficult times in my life, so no matter what I'm doing or who I'm listening to at the moment, I always end up coming back to the comfort that for me is HIM. One of my biggest wishes ever was to get the chance to see and hear them live, and now it will never come true, because they never came to my country, nor any other country near me, and that's a really depressing fact. Still, I'm grateful for their existence and all they've done in these 26 years, so I'll always have their timeless music to hold on to. ♡

Gosh I hope he makes more vocal music. His voice is instantly soothing to me. One of the only musicians who can instantly help my anxiety with just his voice. Love his acoustic versions of HIM songs as well! Looking forward to whatever he chooses to do next.

Shit, this just made me realise how sad it is for me to see one of my favourite bands come to an end, we're basically the same age and I fell in love with their songs at a very young age. I remember saving money for getting their CDs and official merchandise, the first and last time I saw them live… I'm glad to see them having projects of their own, but I can't help no to feel bad about HIM splitting as a band. Thank you so much for a quarter of a century of Love Metal 🖤🤘🏻.

Really fantastic interview, thank you. Explained things a bit more regarding the split. I think he's pretty gutted about it. I would do anything to hear what they were working on. I bet it sounded ace with Kosmo on board. Shame we won't hear him on an album. It still doesn't feel real? It just feels they're out on tour again. Live dvds never capture the experience of a show but I would welcome one. Something to celebrate the band. They need to go down like the band in titanic, rocking out until the end. This is a great interview with Ville. It really seems he wanted to say a lot of things and they were fairly straightforward and not at all harsh about his bandmates it is like the band needed to end it while they're still on top of their game

"It will be HER' LOL I'm curious on what Ville can do alone. I never got the chance to see them live and their split took me as a surprise, but I think they took the best decision, it would have been more sad to see the band's decadence if they didn't feel enthusiasm about it anymore.

I will always be so thankful for the lovely yet very dark songs they gave us all along the way. Music is what makes life beautiful and definetly they embellished our life. Thank you for the interview and the translation. I'm sad that they decided to break up but the explanation was quite detailed. 25 years of anything is a long time, let alone for one band. They've done some excellent music and I have the albums so can listen to them anytime. Then I feel that after some time we'll hear from them again, in one form or the other, because these are professionals and I don't expect them to completely give up on music and to do the gardening for a very long time. :-) I'm basically not giving up on them.

I have loved h.i.m 15 years. I have never got to see them. I did have tickets when they toured in the states in 2006. But my step dad sold them because i was grounded. My life long dream is to see them live. But now it will never happen because they arent coming close to where i am at.
