I am so glad to see both Tata and Mahindra have pulled their acts and are offering fantastic products on global levels at Indian prices... No mean feat... Kudos to both and let's become the new Toyota and Honda of the world... Personlally I am waiting for harrier 7 seated automatic n 4wd. :) unrelated to this podcast I know.. :)

Exactly what i was looking for. Nice & to the point. The petrol is so much fun to drive. It does not matter to me if its the old engine or the new engine as long as the drive brings smile on my face & sure it did. Only waiting for the AMT variant

You can buy silver with gold price like brezza zdi+ but cant buy a dimond with gold price like xuv 300 a good feeling vehicle

Today i have taken brizza and xuv 300 petrol test ride. XUV 300 clearly win . Riding ,braking ,pickup much batter then brizza..keep it up Mahindra.

Compare to other Mahindra,xuv 300 is expensive but it worth.basically this is Korean Tivoli quality levels is better as like hyundai so little expansive

@@vedanthreddy2375 DSG seems a bit difficult in this case. If M&M want to control competitive pricing, they will go with AMT, not even torque converter. Some of the 'not so imp' features if compromised for, then some chance of DSG.

The petrol competes with Nexon Petrol with both being 1.2ltr turbo Petrols.. The Nexon Petrol XZ+ top end costs 11.3 lacs on road Bangalore.. The XUV300 Petrol W8(O) costs 14.6 lacs on road Bangalore!!! Even the comparable W8 Petrol costs 12.9 lacs!! Can XUV300 petrol justify an additional cost of 1.6 to 3.3 lacs!? Impossible.. coz poorer cabin space, poorer cabin styling, poor bootspace, poor ground clearance n breakover angle than Nexon.. just adding more features n price it more won't help! XUV300 is an overpriced car..

They thought like hyundai we will pack our car with more features but forgot about pricing it well, and this will affect many potential buyers. And you call in sports utility vehicle where utility is poor than entry level hatchbacks. In spite of bigger and wider wheelbase than creta, it is not spacious as compared to its rivals especially rear seat and boot space is just a joke for entry level suv segment.

First of all petrol top model will cost around 13.4 lakhs on road. I've driven both nexon and xuv300 petrol, even if you're a nexon lover, please try to accept the truth. Xuv300 petrol is very refined, powerful and has negligible turbo lag. While nexon feels slightly underpowered and lag is the biggest problem, that engine isn't even close to the one in xuv300. Power delivery is so good in xuv300. Coming to the driving dynamics, let me clear that xuv300 is not only better than rivals but also the cars segment above. The handling on xuv300 is way better than that of nexon's, but nexon have excellent ride quality. Xuv300 is most stable on high speeds, corners and sharp turns but nexon doesn't feel that stable. If you look at the features like 4 disc brakes, marazzo's engine, tivoli platform and best driving dynamics, xuv300 is surely expensive but not overpriced.

Ground clearance isn't an issue, even scorpio has the same ground clearance. It does depends on suspension and setup. Rear space is similar like that of brezza's. Only boot is a problem, but still ok.

@@SOURABHGANJRE This car isn't just about features but driving dynamics and safety. Look at creta 1.6 top end, xuv300 base model offers way better driving dynamics. Xuv300 offers 4 disc brakes as standard, most refined engines, tivoli platform and best driving dynamics. Any Hyundai isn't even close to xuv300 when it comes to high speed stability, driving dynamics and handling. So please people will go for a quality product over vfm looking deal. This car isn't overpriced but expensive, it still worth. Also after some years, mahindra xuv300 will remain the same but not might be its rival except hyundai.

Claimed mileage of 15 !!!! For a turbo petrol ? Every one knows the main drawback of turbo petrol engines. It’s fuel economy. And how much time will C & B will take to check the real world mileage figures. Come on ... Paid review.

Automated 'manual' transmission is no joy to drive as compared to Any automatic transmission out there. It is just a pseudo automatic and not a genuine one.

Mahindra - unnecessarily became Greedy, Overpriced the car, shud have 1st come with introductory price to see whether people are opting for it, n problem with Mahindra cars is after a year/two every parts gives weird sounds.

That's not true, mahinra will easily last. This car isn't overpriced but expensive. You are getting better performance and driving dynamics than creta 1.6 top end, then how do you expect it to be cheap? It still worth because of quality and type of engine it is offering

Ecosport i was also looking... but the problem EcoBoost ecosport has is its low profile tyres..lot of tyre bursting issues.. not safe...
