Fly the helicopter, make sure we get a good view of the riders, keep the shadow of the helicopter out of the shot if you can, follow the riders along the route, don't fly us into the side of a mountain, oh and mind the cable cars.

I saw the start from the riders perspective and I thought that looks fun. From the helicoper I thought fuck that they must be mental. I'd love the ride the lower sections though this looks amazing.

Reminds me of the call of duty modern warfare DS game where the pilot flys sideways through city streets and you just start wasting everyone with unlimited ammo.

Not to mention you can see more of the scenery and just how steep those slopes really are. The rider videos made it look flatter and I was wondering why they were sliding on theirs so much after falling off.

He was the leader there in the footage with a long gap for a long time. But then he was overtook and then between the 1st and 2nd placed kilian began to grow a huge gap. Then Kilian managed to overtake him and resecure his 1st place... but the other one just overtook Kilian again so he finished 2nd.

No, that is Jose Borges at 8:16. Bron is behind him at that point and doesn't get into the video until 9:26. In fact for a split second at 9:26, you can see Borges on the far left side of the screen, and Bron on the far right side of the screen. The view pulls away from the two of them a moment after that, and then returns to both of them at 10:12. Bron got ahead of Borges during much of the interval that the camera had cut to the crowd of cyclists. When the camera comes back to Borges and Bron again at 10:12, Borges had regained the lead again. Bron retook the lead again a bit later, and Borges got it back again after that and kept it till the end. Borges won the race, beating Bron by 8 seconds. The 3rd place guy was 22 seconds behind Bron, and 4th was over a minute behind Bron. This was the 2019 race, BTW. I only recognized it from seeing Borges in this video take a few unusual shortcuts that are seen in Bron's video of the 2019 race.
