The Democratic party needs to decide where they want to put their resources. The donors need to decide who they will or will not support. I think the ticket should be switched Harris for president / Biden as VP for all his experience and connections. That would alleviate all the concerns about fitness/age and give Biden a graceful non-exit. His legacy would continue. It would also not result in a messy convention and a mountain of legal challenges, not to mention fundraising problems. Biden would have to agree to it, which I highly doubt, but it is the safest, most logical move in my mind.
