Drone footage by @azattyqradio shows the scale of damage of the flooding in affecting several regions in Kazakhstan and Russia. In Kazakhstan, 100,000 people have been evacuated.

I believe it is a mix of extreme heavy rain fall, and sudden very high temperatures, causing ice and snow to melt rapidly in both Russia and Kazakhstan in two huge rivers. This in turn has burst the river banks and overwhelmed dams.

Yes but i guess the 10 meter deep water less than 30km from kazahkstan border is entire unrelated. Nearly all of these never mention the dam rupture, it is all from "sudden snow melt". The dam is why the Ural river flooded to begin with 🤣

I support aiding Ukraine; I was merely making a point that people have the right to object to it, but Russians would be immediately arrested for saying similar things about their own country, as Putin and his cronies would no doubt claim that such rhetoric is insulting to their own armed forces...

It will get worse in the near future, unless some volcano erupts, a large one, spreading fine dust in the top atmosphere, blocking some of the sunlight. But we won't like the effect either.

@@D.von.N There are a few different ways for a star to nova & just the same types of nova that exist. the end of life super-nova is probably the most common thing to come to mind. our star will eventually do this, but its gunna be billions of years before that happens. our star isnt really large enough or it doesnt have a stellar twin to cause any of the other awesome nova. but the one to worry about is the micro-nova. a totally plausible event that were overdue for.
