Have you ever considered using labrodorite powder as a clay temper? Paint flux? or any pottery application?... I have often wondered if some stones would work better than sand and pottery sherds crushed up.

It's definitely not a native gemstone to the southwest. But.... that idea crossed my mind too! Haha You know how mica in the temper flashes... I was wondering if blue flashes could happen. I might have to perform this experiment now!

@@willorocks We have Labradorite over here in Cibola County, and close cousins sunstone, moonstone, and Peridot. Some feldspar has a low melting point. We will let you know if we get a chance to try it. Many blessings to you, Sir!

sir i am making free forms of these labaradorite but it is not coming as a clear as the internet ones . any tips on how to cut it better for free forms

Sure thing, in my About Me section my email's there, I can take a look at it. If it's cutting problems, it could be cause from vibrations in your blade. I find spending some time really getting those pits and scratches out in the early steps really helps too.

Which compund powder is best for polishing labradorite sir ?

I've had great polishing with aluminum oxide, if it's being stubborn you could opt for trying some cerium oxide powder as an alternative. Thanks for watching!
