25:38 I dont know why people dont consider Dastaan drama as a milestone in Fawad's career, It was a super hit drama and Fawad acted brilliantly alongwith Sanam Baloch, not to forget the brilliant direction of Haisam Hussain.

Well yes it was. It was in this drama that i ws like, wow! he can act. He had lost his accent, and he had the complacent mannerism of the 40s. And from then on i knew he will be a great actor.

Uff kiya time tha.. In dramon ko boht credit jata hai pakistan drama industry ko phir se paon p khara krne ka. Sanam left showbiz quite early otherwise she would not be less than a legend.

Nothing can match Dastaan, the historic drama with excellent performances by everyone especially by the leads- Fawad and Sanam. It is still my all time favourite. That is Fawad’s best performance till date. 👍

I still remember when Fawad entered the stage of Alhamra to perform as EP's lead singer back in 2006. He looked very shy but his stage presence was so powerful.People mostly know him from Hamsafar, but for me, he is always that lead singer who sang " IK Ehsas hai key socha na tha" What Good Times 🎉

He seems careless and indifferent to everything around him. His dress sense ( probably his wife's) is of a very old man with short length coat, shirts and ties. He should give a try to T shirts, polo shirts and stylish jeans and leather jackets.

‘Nothing happens for the better or worse’. That’s just the quote of this interview. Aptly summed up Fawad. You never really talk about society or politics but this just summarises that how insightful you are. I am happy that you have so much maturity that many of the things doesn’t actually matter.

I like his interviews, he is such an inspiration, his opinions, views and philosophy about the things, roles and life is just amazingly clear, his thought process is just extra ordinary. I mean he can be good writer or motivational speaker in later life ❤

Hello, I wanted to share some feedback with you. I was excited about listening to this podcast, but unfortunately, I found the conversation to be quite vague. The dialogues lacked context, and it felt like two friends catching up on old topics. Many names were mentioned that were unfamiliar to us, and not enough insights were provided to help us understand the discussion better.

Thank God for this sensible comment! Also I found Fawad coming across as very unfocused, lacking direction in life, lacking a vision. At his age 40+ one would expect more wisdom not behaviour like a 20 year old. Also his criticism if tv was v poor just to justify himself!! Many great tv productions are long series like friends, breaking bad, turkish dramas etc so dont justify yourself by putting down tv. Grow up!!!

EP back in 2006 was nothing but a treat for me as a teenager, i was 14 and my taste in music was evolving, i think i have an amazing taste for music and i really owe it all to these bands back in those years. I would sing and listen to waqt and hamesha on loop. We literally have seen a huge technological transformation, and can see how it brings about a change in cultures and societies.

I was fascinated by ep. Got the cassette and CD 💿, played it in our car for the first time, dad shut it down it was too noisy for him but me and my brother used to play when car was parked in garage , we use to enjoy it so much, use to bring cassette in my school van , im 30 now and my brother 22 and I live abroad, whenever we meet we headbang to your music. It was amazing and the lyrics were deep! Aghosh is my favourite, this interview is nostalgic!

Fawad Khan's music, particularly during the E.P days, has been a constant joy in my life. Classics like "Waqt," "Hamesha," and "Aaghosh" are timeless treasures. Fond memories of friendly debates with fans of Noori, Aaroh, Jal, Roxen, Mizraab, and Mizmaar. Fawad Khan's artistry holds a special place in my heart.

Yes indeed it is a loss for Indian industry but not for him because the role he was offered didn’t fit his standards in my opinion and maybe I can say on the behalf of 70% Pakistan . He was already a star in pakistan and I really wonder why even he signed that ! Maybe he didn’t recognise who he was!

Khubsoorat was beauty and the beast. The romance fawad khan created was unseen, I watched zindagi Gulzar hai few yrs back, big hype here in States. He is such a cute bacha, intelligent kid, not bad for an artist. Can’t wait for the continuation. Great way to spend this snowy Saturday in Chicago.

Why doesn't everyone discuss Fawad and Sanam Baloch's chemistry? Dastan was an excellent drama. Akbari Asghari was amazing. Everyone talks about Mahira khan, Sanam Saeed, and bollywood actresses. Where is Sanam Baloch? I hope Fawad and Sanam Baloch will work together again..❤❤❤

Ahmed’s claim that Ali Zafar, Mahira, Fawad were a threat is wrong. Only Fawad Khan managed to make the cut in Bollywood. He was touted as the next best thing. Filmmakers were lining up to work with him. He was a superstar material and drop dead gorgeous too. The other two weren’t.. I can say this, because I’m from India and I used to follow all three.

What he said about hamsafar. . I remember saying that at that time...hamsafaar story wasn't different...a typical saas playing against her bahu...husband not believing her wife.....it was actors which made it different includingfawad mahira and even naveen . it was chemistry which made it different.

Kapoor and sons dekhne ke baad dil bhar gaya...itni khushi hui film dekh ke ki film dekhne se dil bhar gaya.....the most convincing scene was papa and mom fought plumber scene gishu barking....ohhh my god.....amazing amazing film

It was a superb drama, and very painful to watch, Sanam Baloch and Fawad and also others were simply brilliant in dastaan! To me this and SRK’s dev Das were my most heart wrenching south Asian drama/ films I’ve watched!

Oh man half of the content i couldn't understand because i haven't watched a lot of content from Pakistan but this man is too critical of himself. So analytical and too well read. Even if you don't feel satisfied with your work, please do more. We are being deprived of your performances. Your journey is amazing and it seems like you don't like monotony and you want to do a lot of things, which is amazing. That's the kind of journey everyone should have, but we miss your performances. We want to see you more. What a relief to the eyes and ears to listen to this man.❤

Fawad khan was the best in Dastaan and Zindagi Gulzar hai, disappointed that he gave up Tv. Television made him famous and gave him world wide recognition. He has talent and now can pick and choose his projects. He needs to show his acting skills, in Pakistan he needs to come back to television for his fans.

Fawad deserved much more in Indian film industry. If all these years he would have been here, there'd be no one with his match and many new actors would not even have the position they have now. I really really miss watching him. Zindagi Gulzar Hai made me fall for him and he still have the same charm. #wewantFawadinIndia❤

I always think about this - I genuinely think fawad and mahira had bad timing and luck with the events that transpired and how it affected pak-india policies, but to imagine where fawad would be today in Bollywood, is insane because he had such A HUGE impact with the little work he did that time. If he stayed longer, he would absolutely without a doubt be one of the top most famous actors there. There’d be no one in his league acting wise and looks wise . His hype was insane back then

yar Ep wala part was so short, And this was the podcast I was waiting for where there was a good chance of actually getting to know the reason behind Ep's break up, but Fawad yet again being diplomatic there. I wish Ep would have continued just for another album or so, I still remember few songs from the second album, "Kya hota", "Rah ki Zuban" and "Awaaz" They were all signature Irtiqa album style songs. Pakistanis still have no idea with Ep's break up what we had lost it can never be replicated again. A line from the song Kya huta - Kya huta jo keh bhi dia huta jo main keh na saka, jo main khud say juda huta, maut apni jiya huta.....

I loved him from Khuda ke liye that film with Shaan! And watched everyone of his dramas available on you tube of other streaming media! This man has such a velvety voice and in Maula Jutt just his eyes and facial expressions evoked such deep emotions with no. Dialogues. Pity his health issues and other priorities kept him away from doing dramas.,
