I just loved seeing how Mengsk kept hitting the button, like if he thought he hit it hard enough it would work. It was also rather graceful of Artanis to let him have a few tries.

Ending actually makes more sense then the real game, the artifact couldn’t kill all protoss in a large area, but it has been mentioned to be able to eliminate nearby protoss in WoL. Arcturus has a semblence of competence, he actually tries to lure in the unkillable Artanis, but at the last moment, the artifact fails......

Artanis won because of his secret power: good ol' fashioned discipline.

This is by far my favorite mission in HOTSPE. I'd create 12 Dark Archons and wait for Mengsk to send me the goods. I have so many Sky Furies, Pride of Augustgrads, Black Hammers, Night Wolves, and Shock Divisions, all being repaired by Carriers. It's glorious.

Several Endings of Heart of the Solarite: Spear of Adun Ending: when Keystone appears, Spear of Adun take it. Ressurgence Ending: Because Artanis became Primal Zerg, Keystone affects to him and almost kills him, but thanks to Zeratul's or Karax's voice, may be even Cairne's, activates Ressurgence and with created magnitic explosion disables device in the hand of Mengsk. Artanis slaughtered the Emperor, happy end. Shakuras Temple Ending: As we can see, explosion, caused by Artanis, equal to phase prisma overloading in Shakuras, so... Korhal has been destroyed together with Raynor's Raiders and Valerian too. GOOD JOB, ARTANIS! Karax Inprisonment Ending: After Mengsk defeat Artanis, annoying by Karax's behaviour, with the help of more than one Motherships isolates all solarite and puts Karax in stasis instead of Rohana. Happy end! True Ending: Raynor kills Artanis and Mengsk and in LOTV shoot Solarite Yamato to Amon.

What if the story about getting the Xel Naga artifact? It would not be logical that the solarite was just another goal that Karax had, but that the real goal was always to get the Xel Naga Artifact (Yeah, it's confused but Jim Raynor is live or Protoss kill Protoss innocent)

This kind of last mission is perfect for the Protoss - cheese the enemy by mass Void Rays (and a Mamaship I guess). You can't get any more Protoss than that lmao

I don't know what else you'll be doing, but I'd like to offer a couple of ideas: 1) LOTV Epilogue, but Starcraft 1 Edition: Tassadar, Overmind and Raiders with UED decided to kill Amon once and for all. Who from them become Xel'Naga, you better decide, but I would look at Tassadar and Overmind. 2) Brood War Episode 6, Mission 5: Mengsk decided to kill Kerrigan and Fenix. I hope, you remember that mission. 3) Celebrate take control over Kerrigan. I hope that I can help with search of interesting content.
